alot of people thinking amare is top 5 power forwards is totally outta the question , amare cannot create for himself ok now if u talk about him being a face up offence player then bosh is by far way better becuase bosh has the qucikest first step as a pf and my list will be 1) gasol 2 ) dirk 3) bosh 4 ) duncan 5) garnett i put garnett 5th becuase even though you may think hes 3rd over bosh and duncan its numbers right now bosh is playing way better ball

5.Stoudemire.
I have Dirk and Gasol 1 and 2 because of their versatility. They can pass, shoot from anywhere, and move without the ball so well for 7 footers.

Good point... people tend to forget about him because of where he plays (although they have a great front line now with Bargnani comming into his own). I'd have to nudge Bosh in there right after Gasol. Bosh is also one of the FUNNIEST guys in the league. Very likable.
It's really a toss with most of these guys. On any given night they can be dominant.

Not really, Duncan used to be injured a lot with knee problems, now he's fine. It's just that his team has limited his minutes now.

That's true, and it really isn't in his control I suppose. Still, I have to put Dirk and Gasol ahead of Tim because of their amazing versatility. As far as off the court goes, I would say that Tim is probably my favorite player because of his personality.... one of the nicest and classiest guys the league has ever seen.

garnett is also a great shooter (although he avoids shooting threes when he can) and he is the 2nd best defender in the league today!

dirk really hasnt had anyone on his team. Hes been the lone wolf leading the team to the playoffs and what not. Jos howard has not been healthy. But now our team is good. Our beanch is fucken deep. And with marion and kris humphries and howards return comming back. Our team is the shit. And the last 2 games our defense has been supurb making our opponents shot 39-41 percent

I don't think people realize that either the Spurs or Lakers made the Finals every year for a decade... except when Dirk carried Dallas in 2006. The Lakers and spurs domintated because they had a Kobe/Shaq combo and a Duncan/Parker/Ginobili trio... and the Mavs have a solo superstar in Dirk... Cuban needs to do his job and get in another superstar to help Dirk out, because he is a great player, lives for the game, and deserves it.

Regardless of what will be said of him, there is no doubt that Dirk has place among the NBA's All-Time Greats. His number 41 will be proudly retired, he will be proudly enshrined in the Hall of Fame, and his name alone will forever attain iconic status in the sport. Dirk Nowitzki is the name.

Dirk is great for sure. Look what he has done for this franchise... Lebron is more talented for sure, even if u can not compare cuz he plays 3 and dirk play on the 4. Kobe needs another great player on his team, like shaq or pau. the problem is, dirk is the only great player in this team. look at the champions past 6or7years there were at least 2 great players. Sahq and kobe, d-wade and shaq, TD Manu, Parker. KG, Ray Ray, PP... how bad kobe sucked as he had to lead the lakers by his own...

haha steve trash? shaq shoulda won mvp in 05 and kobe in 06. Steve trash had like 3 all stars around him (joe johnson, amare, marion), 6th man of the year barbosa, mip diaw, and can't even make it to the finals. Put like J Kidd (in his prime) or CP3 or any decent PG in that former loaded suns team instead of steve trash and they woulda have easily won at least like 3 championships.
