@tangyteng Forgot. Inner Focus is so rarely seen and even rarer to be beneficial. Had I realized that prior, I would have played things differently for sure but I think I was done for regardless, Kindgra would KO something with Hydro Pump unless he missed.

hey ive been getting back to playing pokemon and im trying to get a duskull with impish nature and mav ivs and i dont want to cheat. ive seen a lot of your videos and im a big fan and im just wondering if you use any ar etc cause your pokemon are amazing and there all level 100 which kinda takes a long time for me. any advice? should i give up on trying to get a max iv pokemon?

@9298035 Wifi sets pokemon to lvl 100, so don't worry about level.

If you're breeding legit, max IVs across the board are essentially impossible. So yeah, not that beneficial

It's a complicated way of abusing the game's Random Number Generator in order to get ideal IV's for your pokes. From what I've seen, most Smogoneers do this by using a program called RNG Reporter to catch or breed pokes 31 IV's in most stats. Shinies can also be obtained this way.

not necessarily, if you get into the idea that the same stuff is reliable and good, it can easily be countered.

@Emilyrox121 Which is why they have multiple sets so that you do not know at first which one it is, and therefore prediction is born.

There isn't always something you can do about a move either. Smogon makes it sound like you should win every game 6-0, "just do this or do that", it doesn't work that way.

Even if you know exactly what the poke CAN do, you still gotta guess what it WILL do, and that varies person to person, and even changes based on temperament of the individual game itself.

Nah, the set it decent, but you should give it Scarf, Band or LO for awesome damage. Another cool Meta set is those same attacks except you switch Ice Punch for Agility, and make it hold a LO. If you get to set up, it's game over.

I probably would have gone with the Air Slash on Rhyperior just because you needed to stop him from doing Stone Edge somehow, so I would have just hoped for the hax.

@solosoloblackdude Maybe....I just figured I can KO either of them in one shot with one guy, so stacking on hits felt unessecary, but I guess if I did Ice Fang then that logic can work.

However, his Kingdra would have KO'd Mamoswine with Spec'd Hydropump (unless he missed) if it didn't die (he outspeeds Yanmega) so I still would have had a 1 on 2 situation.
