@2199 Yup, was a sort of friend of his who met Crane through Richard DAWSON, the guy was some audio/video expert and Crane loved all that. Crane and him had wild sex parties and Crane got sick of getting women for this guy on his fame. He told the guy at dinner it was over, the guy begged Crane and then turned on him. During the night he snuck into Crane's room and bashed his brains in with a camera tripod, and was eventually found not guilty, very sad. Crane was actually a Christian once to.

Last I checked, the Barbary Corsairs closed up shop PDQ when the American frigates showed up and started smashing things, and the British got a pretty good start on the US in 1812 but got kicked out on their fancy red coat-tails in New Orleans and literally every major body of water.

I'm not sure where Dawson was at the time, but I know it wasn't because of his Feud or Match game. This was from 1967...9 years before Family Feud and 6 years before Match Game.
