hey im looking to buy a nitro, im getting tired of my rustler vxl. would a t maxx 3.3 be a good first nitro? and me being 14, would it be easy for me to maintain? someone please reply!
how much was this and i have an electric rustler vxl, i was wondering if you would suggest this. i have been in the hobby for about a week. or if i would be better off with electric.
First videos of yours that I've seen. Really like it, subscribed.
I'm all into electrics and I use to be into nitros, had T-Maxxs and Savages and they were fun but I bought my first hobby grade electric and it was all over for my nitros. That being said I still would like at least one nitro to putt around with once and a while and this Nitro sport looks like it would fit the ticket.
hey guys i really need your help what is better for beginers the traxxas nitro sport or the traxxas nitro rustler. keep in mind that the rustler has 2.4ghz and more power and more upgradable parts available etc.PLEASE HELP. thanks
@rcnightmare I am looking to go back in to nitro... I had a Traxxas S-MAXX 3.3 before, and now I have the HPI Blitz and HATE it because it won't work and HPI's customer service sucks... So would this be an easy nitro to get into? Is it hard to keep this one tuned? How hard it it to tune it when it needs to be tuned? Just kind of give me some basic info...
@L3G3ND0PRODUCTIONS No. You can bag up the Receiver and throw waterproof servos on there but the motor's gotta breathe and engine blocks don't like to be "flash cooled" by large amounts of water so do so at your own risk!
I had one of those nitro sports a long tme ago....Those things just keeps going and going!! its a lower leverl than the rustler, motor wise, but uses the same parts. Good entry lever car..... motor is easy to break in and will run like a champ!.
That has the same boddy as the rustler ... and I like nitro bc it so much like a real car you have to care for it get gas with electric it doesnt have that much
@rcnightmare How is the tuning on these engines? I have a S MAXX 3.3 and it comes out of tune so quickly and I hate messing with it, Is the .15 easy to tune and easy to access all of the tuning components?
@TheMacbooksRock15 Generally this .15 is pretty stable on the tune. 3.3's can be but the break-in and maintenance have to be dead on. Check for carbs leaks too.
@rcflightschool My 3.3 is a great engine, but I really am not that patient with fixing things on my own. I am really thinking about going electric, but for some reason the Sport keeps popping back into my mind. I love the sound and smell of nitro (when it works.) For somebody who is not the most patient ever, would you suggest giving the Sport a try or just going electric (If I go electric I will get the HPI Blitz.)
very nice unboxing vid :) i dont know why people dont like the plastic U-joints i have a bandit VXL i have owned it for about a year now and i am replacing the stub axles only now, not because i NEED to, but because they look like they are going to break (in fact i think they still have a month in them) and i get those stub axles at the extremely high cost of $3 so on this car with relitively little power (compared to most other cars) the plastic drive shafts should be around for a long time.
@mustangman456 we will be cutting back on the 1.16 scales but it might come around. My opinion would be to get the 1.10 scale but that's not much of a review =]
@jmloudon97 nitro rustler if you're looking for speed. The jato 2.5 if you're looking for more speed. The jato 3.3 is...too much engine for RWD and RWBraking.
@BeastOnCallOfDuty Yeah some people are die hard fans. Can't beat the noise/smell/etc...for every nitro I have 10 electrics myself...been there done that.
i break the shock towers
