I never said "there was no blacks in the CSA." You're FLAT OUT LYING about that. I never said "none are soldiers." That's another lie by you, little baby. And I certainly never said "the south was nothing racist." Racism was the "cornerstone" of the entire confederacy. You claim 93,000 free blacks fought for the confederacy. That's a FLAT OUT LIE, and you know it. You're a LIAR, little boy.
you said there was no blacks in the CSA i proved that wrong. you said none are soldiers i proved that wrong. you claimed the south was nothing racist, but some of biggest plantations in the CSA where black owned so proved you wrong again. maybe you should not reading the hateful country splitting bullshit the US government prints out.
You seem pathologically incapable of letting anyone else have the last word, so I'll give it to you. Say your peace, and then you're done here. This is not your personal blog to cut and paste Scott Williams. Better make it good, sloppy, because you're done after that.
You claimed 93,000 free blacks fought for the confederacy, boy. That's a complete and total lie, junior, and even you know that now. Even the liar Scott K Williams won't claim a number that high. No evidence supports it. One black man receiving one pension does not prove that 93,000 free black men fought in combat for the confederacy. You lose, little baby.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Sorry, son. Even the Scott K Williams hate site you've been blindly copying from admits that the pensions went to non-combatants. You just didn't scroll down far enough, because you're stupid AND lazy. Even Hollandsworth admits that the pensions were for non-soldiers. mdah[DOT]state[DOT]ms[DOT]us/pubs/pensioners[DOT]pdf. I'm sorry you're not confident enough to think for yourself, and admit that the confederacy was racist.
Maybe when you go to high school and grow up, you'll realize that you can't win a debate by spamming the board with a bunch of lies that you blindly copied from a biased, agenda-driven website. In fact, thats the textbook method for losing a debate. SCV knows it's lies can't withstand even a second of academic scrutiny; it just hopes they can trap children and stupid people. It's sad that you qualify as both, and that you fall for lies and conspiracy theories you read on the Internet.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks maybe when you grow up you will realize calling Facts lies dose not make them lies.. there facts you cant change you just refuse to acknowledge. also the Pensions can be seen via a request under the freedom of information act. but i bet you wont check that, your just going to call it a lie with no real knowledge of anything you say.
Wow, spamming the board with lies that you're blindly copying from SCV or a parrot site. How sad and predictably. You have really struck the bottom of the barrel now, little guy.
Nearly 180,000 Black Southerners, from Virginia alone, provided logistical support for the Confederate military. Many were highly skilled workers. These included a wide range of jobs: military engineers, teamsters, ordnance department workers, brakemen, firemen, harness makers, blacksmiths, wagonmakers, boatmen, mechanics, wheelwrights, ect. In the 1920'S Confederate pensions were finally allowed to some of those workers that were still living. Many thousands more served in other Confederate States.
One black C. S. Navy seaman was among the last Confederates to surrender, aboard the CSS Shenandoah, six months after the war ended. At least two blacks served as Navy pilots with the rank of Warrant Officer. One, William Bugg, piloted the CSS Sampson, and another, Moses Dallas, was considered the best inland pilot of the C.S. Navy. Dallas piloted the Savannah River squadron and was paid $100 a month until the time he was killed by the enemy during the capture of USS Water Witch.<-- Facts
more Facts Union General U.S. Grant in Feb 1865, ordered the capture of “all the Negro men… before the enemy can put them in their ranks.” Frederick Douglas warned Lincoln that unless slaves were guaranteed freedom (those in Union controlled areas were still slaves) and land bounties, “they would take up arms for the rebels”.<---- Fact.
and i got a ton more FACTS you cant change you can just deny and cry and rage and kick and scream and cry and cry and cry... prob is.. your a moron that don't know shit about the south so maybe you should just keep your fuckin mouth shut.
Frederick Douglas reported, “There are at the present moment many Colored men in the Confederate Army doing duty not only as cooks, servants and laborers, but real soldiers, having musket on their shoulders, and bullets in their pockets, ready to shoot down any loyal troops and do all that soldiers may do to destroy the Federal government and build up that of the…rebels.” <--- Fact.
These were shabby, but not shabbier or seedier than those worn by white men in the rebel ranks. Most of the Negroes had arms, rifles, muskets, sabers, bowie-knives, dirks, etc.....and were manifestly an integral portion of the Southern Confederate Army."<--- Fact.
Dr. Lewis Steiner, Chief Inspector of the United States Sanitary Commission while observing Gen. "Stonewall" Jackson's occupation of Frederick, Maryland, in 1862: "Over 3,000 Negroes must be included in this number [Confederate troops].hese were clad in all kinds of uniforms, not only in cast-off or captured United States uniforms, but in coats with Southern buttons, State buttons, <---- Fact.
The "Richmond Howitzers" were partially manned by black militiamen. They saw action at 1st Manassas (or 1st Battle of Bull Run) where they operated battery no. 2. In addition two black “regiments”, one free and one slave, participated in the battle on behalf of the South. “Many colored people were killed in the action”, recorded John Parker, a former slave<-- Fact.
At least one Black Confederate was a non-commissioned officer. James Washington, Co. D 35th Texas Cavalry, Confederate States Army, became it’s 3rd Sergeant. Higher ranking black commissioned officers served in militia units, but this was on the State militia level (Louisiana) and not in the regular C.S. Army.<--- Fact.
Free black musicians, cooks, soldiers and teamsters earned the same pay as white confederate privates. This was not the case in the Union army where blacks did not receive equal pay. At the Confederate Buffalo Forge in Rockbridge County, Virginia, skilled black workers "earned on average three times the wages of white Confederate soldiers and more than most Confederate army officers ($350- $600 a year). <---- Fact.
its true you just don't want to believe, because you have to much hate. your like a kid in the corner having a temper-tantrum. and the truth of the fact is YES FREE blacks fought for the south. They willing fought, unlike the north that told them fight or hang.
Just for kicks I typed "reptilian creatures" into Youtube, and got HUNDREDS of videos proving that lizard people have controlled our society for centuries!!! If they're on Youtube, they MUST be true!!!
The truth is that no black confederate was ever captured, killed, or wounded. Not one. It's a lie:
Just for Kicks i typed in "Blacks who Fought for the South" in the Youtube search bar... FUCKIN AMAZING what showed up. like atlest a dozen or some vid's that Blows your @ss out of the water saying no blacks fought for the south Lol... your a tool.
Yeah. You're done here, little guy. Go to high school. Go to college. Education is the antidote to your borderline illiteracy and obsessive hatred for black people and the United States of America.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks your the one that hates blacks, you perpetuate hate, and Lies about something you Ovb dont know anything about. you did some random web suring for half facts then you muck up something thousands of Free black men died to Protect. you must watch al sharpton or something, and you call me racist
Yep. I'll keep pounding the facts, and the evil, uneducated, hateful asses can keep lying through their pathetic teeth, and keep defending slavery.
They don't believe slavery is morally wrong. Seriously---they wish millions of black folks had suffered MORE slavery. Can you believe it? They think MORE slavery is a good thing!
When stupid people lie they use the passive tense, like "It has been estimated that..." and fail to provide any source or evidence for their claim. Their problem is that they're plucking numbers out thin air, because the myth of thousands of black confederates is a fiction, a lie perpetrated by the pathetic SCV and other cowards who are too embarrassed to defend the confederacy's "cornerstone" of white supremacism and neverending slavery.
It has been estimated that over 65,000 Southern blacks were in the Confederate ranks. Over 13,000 of these, “saw the elephant” also known as meeting the enemy in combat. These Black Confederates included both slave and free. The Confederate Congress did not approve blacks to be officially enlisted as soldiers (except as musicians), until late in the war. But in the ranks it was a different story. Many Confederate officers did not obey the mandates of politicians,
Well...it depends on what you think the flag stands for , The flag.. you're calling the REBLE FLAG i believe is the confederate naval jack flag used by the navy.
Folks who live in the the south ..their family members fought in that war...just as many have fought under the flag today. it's apart of their family history. most today think it's because you want to keep Blacks as slaves. i don't think the guy in the bar wants black slaves..Just proud ..but doesn't know why ? define redneck !
Of course the South "had a chance to have official elections." The United States of America managed to have two official elections in the same time the confederacy held NO elections. The American process was a hell of a lot more fair that the confederacy's appointment of a dictator to oversee the murder, cheat, and rape of millions of innocent people that the you and the confederates believe are inferior simply because of the color of their skin. We think slavery is wrong. You don't. Sad.
Mo one murdered, lied, cheated, or "ripped full democracy" more than the confederacy. Lincoln was popularly elected twice, but Jeff Davis never stood for even one election. He and the rest of the racist confederacy enslaved, murdered, and exercised fascist authority over millions of innocent people they (and today's neo-cons) consider inherently inferior. It's truly evil.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks your full of Shit. I did Provide creditable source you just refuse to do any followup research. also you keep saying im full of hate but i have YET to attack you as a person. but im the hater.. your not even giving me a worth wild debate anymore. and BTW Davis was only a Standin and was voted for by the the legislative representatives who had to be voted in. the south never had a chance to have official elections.
@hogndorff You haven't provided ANY sources, little boy, much less "creditable" ones. No sources exist because the "thousands of black confederates" thing is a lie perpetrated by racists and defenders of your beloved slavery. There is no record that any black confederate soldier was ever killed, wounded, or captured in the United States Civil War. NOT ONE. Now, little guy, you can continue to advocate the lie, but the rest of us will treat you like a birther or Holocaust denier.
You're just a liar, little guy. If any evidence on Earth proved that a whopping 93,000 free blacks fought for the confederacy, you would have provided it. But you've never cited any source, boy, and you never will. You just pulled that number out of thin air, or from a lying, neo-con hate site. You're not yet grown up enough to know that you can't just allege shit like that without doing the research, like I did in providing sources you ignore. You're an enbarrassment, son.
this gos out to ALL Americans, black, brown, yellow, white, tan, pink or green. The government started over steping its power back in the civil war true patriots of our nation tried to stop them tried to save your rights and liberty's. The fight gos on in the name of all Americans. It dose not matter what part of the country you where born in. dont let this hatemonger scare you away from the south or the rebel flag. there so much more behind it then hes TRYING to portray.
93,000 free blacks did not fight for the South. That's another complete and total lie. Pro-slavery hatemongers who never graduated high school should not arrogantly lecture the world about a serious subject like American history. Dunning-Kruger is painful to watch. bluffton[DOTedu/~bergerd/essays/trclark or theroot[DOT]com/views/myth-black-confederates-persists
@RonPaulHatesBlacks now your just in denial. I give Provable facts, you give lies and name calling. but im the one that's full of hate Lol dude your so brainwashed you cant see the US governmant steping on your ball sack to control every little aspect of your life.
Lincoln did set blacks free. That's not a lie. Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation and signed the 13th Amendment. Lincoln was far from perfect by today's standards, but We the People honor him for his actions. Racist kids and traitors who never even graduated high school hate him for those same actions. They think generations of millions of innocent black people deserved MORE decades of slavery and segregation. It's sick, evil, and sad.
if its a lie then why did 93,000 FREE blacks fight for the south. also why are you talking about Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation where he himself says he was not out to free the blacks or make them equal. he wanted full government control and stupid people like you just keep giving to them.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Lincoln was not perfect by ANY standers. The real Traitor's are the ones who murder, lie, cheat and rip full Dictatorship of a country from the people who have the RIGHT <--- By Law to Govern there own individual states as seen fit. and again YES FREE BLACKS FOUGHT FOR THE SOUTH!!!!! Thats a PROVEABLE FACT. people like you who want to divide our country men should step back. WE ARE ALL AMERICANS. "Vote Ron Paul".
Think about the negative things that come to mind when you say, redneck, hillbillies, blacks, thugs, Bosnians, Indians, Africans, Russians, middle eastern... And the list goes on, cause no matter where you are from there is someone who can say something bad about you or your ethnicity. We have to believe in our governments to remove the evil and bad individuals from society so we can raise our children in a better world, to love people no matter what you look like and teach them on past mistakes
Being from the south and understanding stereotypes is something I have great deal of experience with. it it's humanly natural to carry animosity toward others and their ethnicity. But as society, as a nation, and as a human race we have to find a way to accept others as they are regardless of your ethnicity, there are individuals who we look down upon in every ethnicity.
Wow, 2 overly educated ignorant people fighting to persuade someone who is blinded by their own beliefs and knowledge. Sometimes the most intelligent can seem so ignorant. Many of our world leaders have been blinded and set their beliefs by their time periods, not meaning they were right, which most were wrong in many social beliefs, but we learn from our past and we teach our children to love and treat others the way we would want to be loved and treated.
@gflener its called a Debate, not a fight. Furthermore how can we learn from a past that most people don't know and are not taught. all people know about the civil war is that Lincoln set blacks free, and that's just a flat out lie.
No one invaded, murdered, or taxed more than the racist confederates. Assholes who never even graduated high school don't care about that, though, because the confederacy invaded, murdered and taxed in the name of slavery and racism.
What's next? Defending the Nazis by claiming they and the Allies both "had there [sic] down side"? Is there anything more pathetic than the Nirvana fallacy, especially from a disphit who doesn't know the difference between "their" and "there"? What a moron!!!!
@RonPaulHatesBlacks but they DID invade and DID murder and DID over tax and DID Circumvent ALL Local government's, and they DID Fail in there contract with the southern states to help pro-vent Indian attacks. There was no need for a war to Abolish slavery seeing as it was bring filtered out be-for Lincoln ever got his butt in office.
@hogndorff Your beloved slavery wasn't being "filtered out," kiddo. It was GROWING. The racists massively increased your beloved slavery in the South, fought to expand your beloved slavery to new territories, declared your beloved slavery the "cornerstone" of its entire nation, and adopted a constitution that explicitly barred anyone from "filtering out" slavery---forever. The South seceded and started the war for slavery. We think slavery is morally wrong. You don't. Nothing else matters.
Um, yeah. Lincoln wasn't perfect by today's standards. Plenty of Allied troops and commanders in WWII were anti-Semitic. So what? Does that justify Hitler and the Holocaust? Or is it irrelevant because the Allies didn't start the war and were a he'll of a lot better than the alternative? It's sad that some uneducated hatemongers celebrate the slavery and dictatorship of the confederacy
@RonPaulHatesBlacks ok so half the south reasons for fighting the north was slavery, but NONE of Lincoln's intentions where over the well being of Equality for blacks.. but just the south is racist. do you not see the foolishness of your argument. Facts Slavery of ANY COLOR is WRONG. but invading, murdering, and over taxing your own country men for control over local governments is also wrong. Both sides had there down side, but the Fed's just has yet end.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks you know what. i dont know why i wasted so much time on you. your name alone shows that you are an uneducated whelp. If your not going to vote for Ron Paul what tyrant you going to vote for. Obama who has Destroyed our Constitution. NDAA is an Act of Treason, so is the patriot act. bush and Obama by our own Laws should be in jail. Newt is nothing more then a whore monger who would sell out to the highest bidder. Santorum is Almost <<--- as full as shit as Romney.
The closest thing to a dictator in the 1860s was Jefferson Davis and the racist Southerners who fought to preserve their ability to own other human beings. Dictators do not stand for election. Lincoln was lawfully elected in both 1860 and 1864, and his actions were subject to the checks and balances of the other branches. Davis was never subject to any popular vote. There's nothing more dictatorial than OWNING another human being.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Dude your so full of stupid hate you cant see all of the problems faced then and now. you have done nothing but Perpetrate hate and falsehoods. Lincoln himself stated he thought blacks where lower then white's. in the same speech he said he wanted to free. Again proving that freeing them was NOT what he wanted to do but something he had to do to sell the murdering of southern land owners "Even ones that had no Slaves at all" he wanted complete ruler ship
The Civil War has nothing to do with "the Fed" stepping all over anyone's rights. Nothing that happened under Lincoln couldn't have been undone in the last 150 years---except freeing the slaves. That's why we honor Lincoln, and you hate him. He freed black people.
If you ever accept that slavery and racism are wrong, you will recognize that the South was wrong to secede over slavery, wrong to declare it their "cornerstone," and wrong to adopt a Constitution that preserved slavery forever.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks i think you need to go back and read the formation of the union in the first place. with the bills that he past he totally circumvented all state's government's, it was never really about WHAT he did. it was HOW he did it. he had no right to set the bills he past. it was not in his power to do. its when we went from being true republic to being more of a dictatorship with the ruler on high.
I know exactly what you are. You're a little guy who doesn't believe it's morally wrong for whites to own black people as slaves, but you're too embarrassed and politically correct to admit it. You never graduated high school or studied American history, so your only option is to blindly copy lies from a neo-con hate site. I've seen at least 100 of your kind on Youtube, son. We know why neo-Nazis support Hitler, and we know why you support the CSA "cornerstone" of slavery and white supremacism.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks no sir i believe Racism is the highest form of ignorance any one person can accomplish in there life. but i also know letting the Fed step all over my rights is somewhere around number 2.
that right there proves for Fact the Civil War was not fought over Slavery that was nothing more then a sales pitch for the mass's it was over the infringement of state's rights to govern themselves, witch states don't do anymore.
It's hilarious when uneducated hatemongers pretend to be offended that the thousands of slaves in the Border States had to wait two extra years for freedom while simultaneously championing the confederacy's alternative of neverending slavery for millions of innocent black people, and all their descendents, until the end of time!!! Hahahahahahahahahaha!!! What's next? Neo-Nazis pretending to be offended by anti-Semitism in the Allied nations during WWII?
Nope. All I do is pound the facts. Texas's declaration of secession is online, and available for everyone to read. The Mississippi, Georgia, and South Carolina declarations are online, too. Together they cite "slave" and "slavery" a whopping 82 separate times and explain exactly why the South seceded and started the Civil War:
"Our position is thoroughly identified with the institution of slavery---the greatest material interest of the world."
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Many knew Lincoln had little love for enslaved blacks and didn't wage war against the South for their benefit. Lincoln made that plain, saying, "I will say, then, that I am not, nor have ever been in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races
@RonPaulHatesBlacks I am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race." The very words of his 1863 Emancipation Proclamation revealed his deceit and cunning; it freed those slaves held "within any State or designated part of a State the people whereof shall then be in rebellion against the United States.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks It didn't apply to slaves in West Virginia and areas and states not in rebellion. Like Gen. Ulysses Grant's slaves, they had to wait for the 13th Amendment, Grant explained why he didn't free his slaves earlier, saying, "Good help is so hard to come by these days
Texas said it seceded because it believed slavery "should exist in all future time" and America disagreed. Texas explained that non-slave states had increasingly refused to enforce the Fugitive Slave Act and elected abolitionists who proclaimed "the debasing doctrine of equality of all men, irrespective of race or color--a doctrine at war with nature, in opposition to the experience of mankind, and in violation of the plainest revelations of Divine Law."
@BoyScout464 Because the South said it was about slavery when they started it, in their Cornerstone Speech and declarations if secession that you refuse to read, even though they're widely available online. The South had a whopping 3.5 million slaves in 1860. By contrast, the Border States had just 500,000 and the Northern States had all peacefully and voluntarily abolished slavery years before. Why do you want to own black people? How many slaves do you want to own, kiddo?
@RonPaulHatesBlacks go back and read the quote i put back there from Texas Speech of Secession. They have invaded Southern soil and murdered unoffending citizens, and through the press their leading men and a fanatical pulpit have bestowed praise upon the actors and assassins in these crimes, while the governors of several of their States have refused to deliver parties implicated and indicted for participation in such offences, upon the legal demands of the States aggrieved
The black confederate myth remains a lie perpetrated by racists: washingtonpost[DOT]com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/10/19/AR2010101907974[DOT]html?hpid=topnews
If one takes the time to look at history one would see that the Civil War in the United States was not about slavery. It wasn't until 1863 that ending slavery in the rebelling states came about. With that being the case the Confederate flag can only stand for racism to those who do not know the history behind the American Civil War.
@BoyScout464 Actually, if one takes the time to look at history one would see that the Civil War was entirely about slavery. The South proudly said so when they started it, in their Cornerstone Speech and declarations of secession. They called slavery "THE immediate cause of the late rupture and present revolution." They said "Our position is thoroughly identified with the institution of slavery---the greatest material interest of the world."
@RonPaulHatesBlacks thats not the truth tho..and i quote "They have invaded Southern soil and murdered unoffending citizens, and through the press their leading men and a fanatical pulpit have bestowed praise upon the actors and assassins in these crimes, while the governors of several of their States have refused to deliver parties implicated and indicted for participation in such offences, upon the legal demands of the States aggrieved. "
@RonPaulHatesBlacks you need to stop posting half truth's and say you know wtf your talking about. because Obv just from your name alone, you just try to stir up trubble about something you know NOHTING about and all true southerns should pay you no mind.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Also here are a few more fun fact's .1 the south had more blacks fighting for it then the north. 2. the blacks in the south army where treated better and fought in mixed regiments "Unlike the north where they had to threaten to hang a white regiment for not wanting to fight next to the blacks" 3. at the time of the civil war started the some of the largest plantations in the south where owned by free blacks who owned 80 or so slaves each.
@hogndorff That's a complete and total lie. The CSA refused to allow blacks to even enlist as soldiers until the end of the war, and only a handful ever served. By contrast, up to 200,000 blacks fought for the United States of America, for the obvious reason.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Professor Ed Smith, director of American Studies at American University, says Stonewall Jackson had 3,000 fully equipped black troops scattered throughout his corps at Antietam - the war's bloodiest battle. Mr. Smith calculates that between 60,000 and 93,000 blacks served the Confederacy in some capacity.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks They fought for the same reason they fought in previous wars and wars afterward: "to position themselves. They had to prove they were patriots in the hope the future would be better ... they hoped to be rewarded."
@RonPaulHatesBlacks The War Between the States, through force of arms, settled the question of secession, enabling the federal government to run roughshod over states' rights specified by the Constitution's 10th Amendment. Sons of Confederate Veterans is a group dedicated to giving a truer account of the War Between the States. I'd like to see it erect on Richmond's Monument Avenue a statue of one of the thousands of black Confederate soldiers.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Well, to counter your argument, just because the Vice-President of the CSA gives a speech does not mean that it is law or the belief of everyone in the South at that time. If Vice-President Biden gave a speech today would that speech represent everyone's views in the US?
@BoyScout464 If Biden's speech was reprinted and celebrated in newspapers across the South and echoed in the Mississippi, Texas, Georgia, and South Carolina declarations of secession, then, yes, it would represent the views of the South. Obviously.
You should wait to graduate high school and go to college before you arrogantly lecture people about the Civil War. Why not make your real argument? Why do you think black people deserve slavery and segregation? Are they genetically inferior to you?
@RonPaulHatesBlacks First, I love how you attack my character and education when confronted with an opposing viewpoint. How very respectful of you. Secondly, if I'm permitted to point out, the United States also had slavery in place during the Civil War. How could the Civil War be about the preservation or eradication of slavery if both side used slavery?
I think the rebel flag is demonized because there is a power that does not want people to rebel. I am a redneck and a rebel but I love my friends of color as much anyone,. To associate the rebel flag with racism is just programing from the ones who want to remain in control.
@dixiepassion I think the rebel flag is "demonized" for the same reason as the Nazi flag---it represents slavery and racism. When the confederacy created the flag, they proudly said it represented the South's "cornerstone" of white supremacism and neverending slavery. All anyone has to do is read the South's own Mississippi, Texas, Georgia, and South Carolina declarations of secession. They're widely available online.
@dixiepassion I didn't use the race card. You did, in your Cornerstone Speech and Mississippi, Texas, Georgia, and South Carolina declarations of secession that you still have NEVER EVEN READ. All the tired insults in the world won't change the facts, boy.
@dixiepassion Of course your rebel flag stands for racism. That's confirmed in documents you're too cowardly to read. What's next? A skinhead claiming the Nazi flag doesn't stand for anti-Semitism while refusing to read any of Hitler's writings?
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! The confederates have been reduced to "monkey see no evil" morons!!! Hilarious!!!
I think many people see the Rebel Flag as the symbol of the army that wanted to maintain slavery. And unfortunately some racists seem to have adopted it as their symbol. But I also think that some southerners feel lthat they shouldn't have to apologise for being southern so wear it as an act of defiance, even though they probably are not racist.
What is sad that people use this flag in a negative way. This Flag is for all from the south. I dont like what teh bad apples do with this flag. I will stand up for all colors that fought for this flag. It wasnt about hate or being racist. Just a few dumb rednecks used it in this way. We are all Children of God no matter what color. The flag wasnt about slaves either the flag stood for people of the south standing with love for there brothers and sisters black and white for what they believed in
The South's own Cornerstone Speech and declarations of secession don't cite taxes, respect, "necessities," or any of that shit. The declarations instead cite "slave" and "slavery" 82 separate times. The South said "Our position is thoroughly identified with the institution of slavery---the greatest material interest of the world." They called slavery "the immediate cause of the late rupture and present revolution." All anyone has to do is read the South's own words at the time.
The South's own Cornerstone Speech and Mississippi, Texas, Georgia, and South Carolina declarations of secession, which explicitly identify slavery as the reason for secession and the war, were issued in 1860 and 1861. Lincoln announced the EP in 1862. Gettysburg wasn't until July 1863.
Why do stupid hatemongers insist on lecturing us about American history without ever studying the subject or doing ANY research? Why are so they so embarrassed to argue the REAL reason they support slavery?
The South's Cornerstone Speech and declarations of secession, which explicitly identify slavery as the reason for secession and the war, were issued in 1860 and 1861. Lincoln announced the EP in 1862. Gettyburg wasn't until July 1863. Why do uneducated neo-con hatemongers insist on lecturing the world without doing even 5 seconds of research first? Why are they so embarrassed to argue the REAL reason they support the racist CSA and it's dream of neverending slavery?
@ChristianSoldier1944 You obviously have never studied American history in your entire life, never read your own Cornerstone Speech or declarations of secession, and have no idea what you're talking about. Your posts are embarrassing, boy. Your own declarations didn't cite taxes, respect, "necessities," or any of that shit. Instead, they cited "slave" and "slavery" a whopping 82 separate times. You'd know that if you'd read them, but you never have and never will. Sad.
it also used to be the flag for the state of georgia..it dont really matter to me one way or the other because to me its kinda like the georgia bulldogs flag or shirts or whatever its everywhere..and im sorry but the georgia bulldogs suck along with every other georgia team..there is no reason to act like they are some type of god ...but yeah rebel flag is one of them things..country people like it and alot of other people dont
No the Confederate flag is in NO WAY offensive or meaning to be offensive to any group of people. It is simply a flag of a country. There is no difference in it or the British flag or the German flag or the Canadian flag or the U.S. flag.
@ChristianSoldier1944 Of course the flag is offensive. The confederacy proudly said so when they created it, in their Cornerstone Speech and Mississippi, Texas, Georgia, and South Carolina declarations of secession. You should really read them. The flag isn't comparable to the German flag---it's comparable to the Nazi flag. That's offensive, too.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Wrong, sir. In the years before the secession, the South was treated with little respect, payed higher taxes, recieved less of the necessities that were to be given by the government, the list goes on. So, just as the colonial states fought Britian's taxation without representation, the South left the country which was mistreating them so that they could start over. Abraham Lincoln, who i highly respect, disliked this and sent the federal army to invade the Confederate States
@RonPaulHatesBlacks This is how the Civil War began. The South was winning the war half way through, this war still being fought over rights and independence and having nothing to do with slavery. It was not until Gettysburg that the word slavery came into the conflict. Lincoln needed a way to get more people on his side. So he pointed out the 2% of slave owners in the South. People thern noticed that slavery was a problem and joined the federal army.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Now, the Confederate flag was designed long before all of this slavery mockery. So, the Confederate flag was nothing but a symbol of a group of people who disliked the way they were being treated by their government and were brave enough to do something about it. Again, no difference in this flag or the Canadian flag, GERMAN FLAG (not nazi), Texas flag, or Maine flag. No hate or offensive meanings are involved in it. Open a history book bud and you just MIGHT learn something.
in sad truth the blacks started the slavery of black people Lol. then again a real truth is also every race has been enslaved at some point in history. Look at the Egypt Pharaohs who enslaved and kill some million or so people building the pyramids. the Chinese did the same with the great wall. the Brits over the Irish and Scottish. the french over anyone that was not french. flat out blacks just cry and bitch more.
@hogndorff Now, what exactly, was Spain's role in the slave trade? By the way, thanks for the names of the free Black slaveowners; I found the information quite interesting.
@Longshot593 Portugal and Spain became increasingly involved in the African slave trade during the early 1500's, after they had established colonies in the Americas. Portugal acquired African slaves to work on sugar plantations that its colonists developed in Brazil. Spain used slaves on its sugar plantations in the West Indies. During the early 1600's, the Netherlands, France, and England also began to use African slaves in the American colonies.
The rebel flag is used today to symbolize southern pride not racism I have a rebel flag in my room and my best friend is fucking black. now the people who see this flag and automatically think of racism are ignorant and retarded the fight most likely started the as the latino guy assuming this. It seems today that the minorities are the most racist. thanks for bringing this up man your fucking awesome!
@THECaptainPlanetHD Actually, the rebel flag represents racism. That's what the confederates proudly said when they created it. You really shouldn't call other people "ignorant" when you've never even read your own Cornerstone Speech or Mississippi, Texas, Georgia, or South Carolina declarations of secession. That's like someone flying a Nazi flag without ever reading any of Hitler's writings, then stupidly declaring that it stands for German pride not anti-Semitism.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks your miss- hearing what I am saying I said "today", the rebel flag is mostly used for southern pride NOT racism. I know it used to be a symbol of racism but it is not used that way anymore and the sooner people see that the sooner people in the south (Blacks and Whites) can carry this flag without looking racist or ignorant
@THECaptainPlanetHD Actually, "today" the rebel flag is mostly used for racism NOT southern pride. People who want to display Southern pride fly the American flag, not the flag of a group of racist traitors who only existed for a few years. Similarly, people who want to display German pride fly the German flag, not the Nazi one. The sooner people seen that the sooner people can carry the flag without looking racist or ignorant.
@THECaptainPlanetHD Don't bother. You're dealing with one of the local trolls. He likes to troll other people's comments just to make himself feel better.
@THECaptainPlanetHD the south stood to the Fed's law's and fine's farly well and for sometime and was working with Gov Huston to help work out slavery from the south. The real breakdown in that failed because the north was sending raiding party's and bandits in to poison wells and kill southern land owners. Also failed in there agreement to help deal with Indian raids. Also take the time to go look up Black slave owners in 1800s.
Im from Tenn. and I believe in the Rebel flag very much. The rebel flag is not meant to be racist it is a sign of the souths heritage and thats all... It makes me furious when black ppl or any other enthnic group tries to say that it is racist cause its not. Ppl conect racism with the rebel flag because some racist ppl have them. The rebel flag never even stood for racism even in the time of slavery.
And all WE ALL can do to end the racism is to teach our kids these values we hold close today. And kind of off topic, I know that there are alot of racist assholes but what I find ironic is all the African Americans who are racist today I never reliezed how many black brothers and sisters were, now it's a LIL different but many ways the same. Just because our decendents did those things dont mean we believe it. But some ppl will never change. All we can do is unite as Americans no matter our race
@justingulley12061986 As much as I agree with your words, I'm afraid that the American people have become even more divided and at each others throats than they were in the 1960's and it's always the media that people of all races pay attention to and it's the media that helps to create even more divisiveness and insanity. As much as I would love to see the American people united, I fear that it won't happen in our lifetime unless some miracle happens.
Granted some ppl still want the flag to mean that we want the south how it used to be before the war, unequal treating. WE were wrong then and most southerners get that now. Not saying that some people still aren't racist they are and that will never change. It's wrong and they know it. But for the rest of us thats progressed with times embrace the good things that being southern means. religion, country life, moonshine, farming, respect, family etc.. Thats what the symbol means today!!
Southern people are proud in there ways, simple fact both white and black. The flag means diff things to diff people. Luckily in this country we do have freedom of speech. Some ppl in this country are racist and thats B.s. I'm southern and proud and have been taught that were ALL equal. I have alot black friends an few lationo friends. And my black bros and sisters ARE proud to be southern just as much as whites.Thats what the flag meansto US. BEING PROUD of where we come.NOT what it used tomean
@justingulley12061986 Um since you seem like a nice redneck i wanna ask u something..Im mixed with black and white which makes me brown anyway im from the south and i talk country and im wondering can i be a redneck.. or will rednecks get affended.. i hunt with my redneck cousion..but i havent told him i wanna be a redneck..help?
@lawdog53 Dude, country folk aren't MADE! They're BORN! And it sounds to me like you're as country as they come. What I mean to say is, there's Black cowboys, Mexican cowboys, etc...etc... Just be who you are and don't worry about it.
i been checking the comments on this vid for a few days now and have come to 2 conclusion, 1 "Longshot593" is nothing but a troll, And none of you know anything about history. My flag my Country and my freedoms suffer over if.
Yeah, nobody complains except "White Liberals and Northerners." The University of Mississippi used to have that horribly racist plantation-owner mascot and used to chant "The South will rise again" during "From Dixie With Love." Did any black folks or Southerners complain? Nope---not one single person!!!!
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! What a fucking retard!!! That N-word spewing racist continues to prove that the antidote to the poison of racism is sweet, sweet education.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Ahhh...it's our favorite hate-spewing little troll! What's wrong little fella? Are you missing your bridge?
I find that it's quite interesting that you scream and cry about White people being racist but yet you support the genocide of White people. You disgusting little troll. If you even had half a dick, you would be speaking out against ALL racial genocide and modern day slavery. But, you're too much of a hypocritical pussy to do THAT, aren't you?
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Oh brother, THAT is the WORST retort I have ever had the misfortune of reading. And when - pray tell- have I advocated the genocide of ANYONE? Hmmm? That's right! I haven't! I spoke out AGAINST it! And tell me, genius; how the hell do we know that shithead that I was addressing was even BLACK? It's the frigging INTERNET! Answer me that one!
@Longshot593 I never said you advocated genocide, moron. I said you support genocide, because you support genocide. Good job attacking a strawman, though! Now, shouldn't you be spraying the N-word on a bunch of white supremacist websites?
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Once more, you prove your idiocy and stupidity. Supporting and advocating are the same thing. Now tell me, when have I supported the genocide of ANY group of people?
I stand by the Flag of my family, that flew high and proud over SC in 1864 my entire family fought and died under flag,, it pisses me the FUCK OFF when Niggers Chincs and wetbacks dis ma flag, SO ALL YOU THAT DONT LIKE IT KISS MA REBEL ASS!!!
@redneckstuntmen2 To tell the truth, I haven't heard that many Black people with the exception of the NAACP making a fuss about the Battle Flag and I have never heard any Chinese Americans complaining and there's at least three Mexican guys in the town I live in with Confederate Battle Flag stickers on their back window. The only ones who scream and cry about it constantly are White Liberals and Northerners. So your statement defeats itself.
@redneckstuntmen2 you yourself dis the flag with your stupid hate, the south army NEVER FOUGHT FOR SLAVERY<--------------- they fought and died for there freedom from the Fed. they lost. now we have no rights and no country.
I'm long-winded, srry but in short I'm not racist, and don't like ppl who are. I don't have a problem with the Confederate flag and would proudly dawn the symbol myself as a Southerner but it reminds me too much of Lynard Skynard and ZZ Top so i dont. my problem is with the way people seem to wear it not as a symbol of pride, but more out of an "I can wear what I want" 5-year-old attitude when the majority of people ARENT EVEN OFFENDED as reported in a poll. the flag isn't racist its how ppl act
@SweetGoth I'm not that big on racism itself (even though I do enjoy aggravating a certain troll on this board.) The only time I've ever even used the N-word was against some idiot who was calling for White people to be exterminated. But I agree with you that it IS all in the attitude.
By the way, what's wrong with ZZ Top? Those guys are the best blues-rock band going! Even better than George Thorogood.
So what I find offensive is the attitudes of the people who wear it bcuz I wonder if they're wearing it just to prove some point that only a handful of people have challenged. It's the same thing with Merry Christmas. No one said to NOT say it, but suggested including OTHER religions as well. So instead of saying, ok that's cool we live in a diverse society, people are like IM SAYING MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND IF IT OFFENDS YOU SCREW YOU! Yeah...way to celebrate the reason for the season, huh?
It seems to me that less people are offended by it than people make it out to be. I rarely hear people say, "Oh, that's so racist!" More what I hear is, "If this offends people then they need a history lesson and I'm going to wear it anyway!" So, to me, it's just over-hype by people who think that everyone thinks it's racist, when it's statistically (last I heard, at least) such a small percentage of people who truly ARE offended by it.
you people are just morons. all colors and creeds fought for the south.. it had NOTHING TO DO WITH SLAVERY!!!!! Slavery was already being filtered out, it had to do the the Fed stepping over there power to tell us what we can and cant do in OUR Homes, in OUR bis. go read your fuckin history befor you start Dogin on my flag.
some southern pple fly the flag out of racism but others just want to show and support there southern heritage because there proud of where they come from and who they are..... may the south rise again, can i get a yeehaw!
@MrHellbilly59 fuck yeah. some german pple fly the nazi flag out of racism but others just want to show and support there german heritage because there proud of where they come from and who they are.... may the nazis rise again, can i get a heil hitler!
the part of VA im from is a small area and lots of pple fly the confederate battle flag including myself i have one tattooed on my arm to represent my southern heritage
Um, yeah. The confederacy is supported by bigots who hate America, believe "America is a dead country," and don't see anything wrong with flying a Nazi flag. That's why We the People love the United States of America instead.
So, in short, who gives a flying fuck what kind of flag someone's waving? It doesn't matter anymore because we'll soon have another nation's flag flying above us. Unless we by some miracle manage to get a government that goes by the Constitution instead of the highest bidder, ass-kiss America's enemies, and kick extreme-Liberals like Bill Ayers out of our education system.
@Longshot593 These include individuals such as Justus Angel and Mistress L. Horry, of Colleton District, South Carolina, who each owned 84 slaves in 1830. In fact, in 1830 a fourth of the free Negro slave masters in South Carolina owned 10 or more slaves; eight owning 30 or more (2).
America is a dead country. It's become a joke of itself and the whole world knows it. Between the government allowing other countries to call the shots and Liberalism turning each and every American into a pussy; we are living in post-America America.
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Hahahaha ROnPaul you have the lamest insults ive ever read me spammin youve been doin this for along time havnt ya yeah i know you have apparently 3 years go gget some sun or a social life or somethin
The confederate flag does not mean racism, it just means southern pride. Anyone of any race can fly it if they have pride in being from the south, me i'm from the north but I do know a little bit of my southern history.

RonPaulHatesBlacks 3 days ago
You claimed 93,000 free blacks fought for the confederacy, boy. That's a complete and total lie, junior, and even you know that now. Even the liar Scott K Williams won't claim a number that high. No evidence supports it. One black man receiving one pension does not prove that 93,000 free black men fought in combat for the confederacy. You lose, little baby.

Grant in Feb 1865, ordered the capture of “all the Negro men… before the enemy can put them in their ranks.” Frederick Douglas warned Lincoln that unless slaves were guaranteed freedom (those in Union controlled areas were still slaves) and land bounties, “they would take up arms for the rebels”.<---- Fact.
hogndorff 3 days ago
and i got a ton more FACTS you cant change you can just deny and cry and rage and kick and scream and cry and cry and cry... prob is.. your a moron that don't know shit about the south so maybe you should just keep your fuckin mouth shut.

Many Confederate officers did not obey the mandates of politicians,
TheConsitutionBlues 4 days ago
Well...it depends on what you think the flag stands for , The flag.. you're calling the REBLE FLAG i believe is the confederate naval jack flag used by the navy.
Folks who live in the the south ..their family members fought in that war...just as many have fought under the flag today. it's apart of their family history. most today think it's because you want to keep Blacks as slaves. i don't think the guy in the bar wants black slaves..Just proud ..but doesn't know why ? define redneck !
TheConsitutionBlues 4 days ago
Of course the South "had a chance to have official elections." The United States of America managed to have two official elections in the same time the confederacy held NO elections. The American process was a hell of a lot more fair that the confederacy's appointment of a dictator to oversee the murder, cheat, and rape of millions of innocent people that the you and the confederates believe are inferior simply because of the color of their skin. We think slavery is wrong. You don't. Sad.
RonPaulHatesBlacks 4 days ago
Mo one murdered, lied, cheated, or "ripped full democracy" more than the confederacy. Lincoln was popularly elected twice, but Jeff Davis never stood for even one election. He and the rest of the racist confederacy enslaved, murdered, and exercised fascist authority over millions of innocent people they (and today's neo-cons) consider inherently inferior. It's truly evil.
RonPaulHatesBlacks 4 days ago
@RonPaulHatesBlacks your full of Shit. I did Provide creditable source you just refuse to do any followup research. also you keep saying im full of hate but i have YET to attack you as a person. but im the hater.. your not even giving me a worth wild debate anymore. and BTW Davis was only a Standin and was voted for by the the legislative representatives who had to be voted in. the south never had a chance to have official elections.
hogndorff 4 days ago
@hogndorff You haven't provided ANY sources, little boy, much less "creditable" ones. No sources exist because the "thousands of black confederates" thing is a lie perpetrated by racists and defenders of your beloved slavery. There is no record that any black confederate soldier was ever killed, wounded, or captured in the United States Civil War. NOT ONE. Now, little guy, you can continue to advocate the lie, but the rest of us will treat you like a birther or Holocaust denier.

But you've never cited any source, boy, and you never will. You just pulled that number out of thin air, or from a lying, neo-con hate site. You're not yet grown up enough to know that you can't just allege shit like that without doing the research, like I did in providing sources you ignore. You're an enbarrassment, son.

RonPaulHatesBlacks 4 days ago
if its a lie then why did 93,000 FREE blacks fight for the south. also why are you talking about Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation where he himself says he was not out to free the blacks or make them equal. he wanted full government control and stupid people like you just keep giving to them.
hogndorff 4 days ago

We have to believe in our governments to remove the evil and bad individuals from society so we can raise our children in a better world, to love people no matter what you look like and teach them on past mistakes
gflener 4 days ago
Being from the south and understanding stereotypes is something I have great deal of experience with. it it's humanly natural to carry animosity toward others and their ethnicity. But as society, as a nation, and as a human race we have to find a way to accept others as they are regardless of your ethnicity, there are individuals who we look down upon in every ethnicity.
gflener 4 days ago
Wow, 2 overly educated ignorant people fighting to persuade someone who is blinded by their own beliefs and knowledge. Sometimes the most intelligent can seem so ignorant. Many of our world leaders have been blinded and set their beliefs by their time periods, not meaning they were right, which most were wrong in many social beliefs, but we learn from our past and we teach our children to love and treat others the way we would want to be loved and treated.
gflener 4 days ago
@gflener its called a Debate, not a fight. Furthermore how can we learn from a past that most people don't know and are not taught. all people know about the civil war is that Lincoln set blacks free, and that's just a flat out lie.
hogndorff 4 days ago

RonPaulHatesBlacks 5 days ago
@RonPaulHatesBlacks ok so half the south reasons for fighting the north was slavery, but NONE of Lincoln's intentions where over the well being of Equality for blacks.. but just the south is racist. do you not see the foolishness of your argument. Facts Slavery of ANY COLOR is WRONG. but invading, murdering, and over taxing your own country men for control over local governments is also wrong. Both sides had there down side, but the Fed's just has yet end.

Again proving that freeing them was NOT what he wanted to do but something he had to do to sell the murdering of southern land owners "Even ones that had no Slaves at all" he wanted complete ruler ship
hogndorff 5 days ago

If one takes the time to look at history one would see that the Civil War in the United States was not about slavery. It wasn't until 1863 that ending slavery in the rebelling states came about. With that being the case the Confederate flag can only stand for racism to those who do not know the history behind the American Civil War.
BoyScout464 1 week ago
@BoyScout464 Actually, if one takes the time to look at history one would see that the Civil War was entirely about slavery. @RonPaulHatesBlacks Well, to counter your argument, just because the Vice-President of the CSA gives a speech does not mean that it is law or the belief of everyone in the South at that time. If Vice-President Biden gave a speech today would that speech represent everyone's views in the US?

No the Confederate flag is in NO WAY offensive or meaning to be offensive to any group of people. It is simply a flag of a country. There is no difference in it or the British flag or the German flag or the Canadian flag or the U.S. flag.
ChristianSoldier1944 1 week ago
@ChristianSoldier1944 Of course the flag is offensive. The confederacy proudly said so when they created it, in their Cornerstone Speech and Mississippi, Texas, Georgia, and South Carolina declarations of secession. You should really read them. The flag isn't comparable to the German flag---it's comparable to the Nazi flag. That's offensive, too.
RonPaulHatesBlacks 1 week ago
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Wrong, sir. In the years before the secession, the South was treated with little respect, payed higher taxes, recieved less of the necessities that were to be given by the government, the list goes on. So, just as the colonial states fought Britian's taxation without representation, the South left the country which was mistreating them so that they could start over. Abraham Lincoln, who i highly respect, disliked this and sent the federal army to invade the Confederate States
ChristianSoldier1944 1 week ago
@RonPaulHatesBlacks This is how the Civil War began. The South was winning the war half way through, this war still being fought over rights and independence and having nothing to do with slavery. It was not until Gettysburg that the word slavery came into the conflict. Lincoln needed a way to get more people on his side. So he pointed out the 2% of slave owners in the South. People thern noticed that slavery was a problem and joined the federal army.
ChristianSoldier1944 1 week ago
@RonPaulHatesBlacks Now, the Confederate flag was designed long before all of this slavery mockery. So, the Confederate flag was nothing but a symbol of a group of people who disliked the way they were being treated by their government and were brave enough to do something about it. Again, no difference in this flag or the Canadian flag, GERMAN FLAG (not nazi), Texas flag, or Maine flag. No hate or offensive meanings are involved in it. Open a history book bud and you just MIGHT learn something.

@RonPaulHatesBlacks Once more, you prove your idiocy and stupidity. Supporting and advocating are the same thing. Now tell me, when have I supported the genocide of ANY group of people?
Please tell us, Great Emperor of YouTube!

I stand by the Flag of my family, that flew high and proud over SC in 1864 my entire family fought and died under flag,, it pisses me the FUCK OFF when Niggers Chincs and wetbacks dis ma flag, SO ALL YOU THAT DONT LIKE IT KISS MA REBEL ASS!!!
redneckstuntmen2 2 weeks ago
@redneckstuntmen2 To tell the truth, I haven't heard that many Black people with the exception of the NAACP making a fuss about the Battle Flag and I have never heard any Chinese Americans complaining and there's at least three Mexican guys in the town I live in with Confederate Battle Flag stickers on their back window. The only ones who scream and cry about it constantly are White Liberals and Northerners. So your statement defeats itself.
Longshot593 2 weeks ago

SweetGoth 2 weeks ago
@SweetGoth I'm not that big on racism itself (even though I do enjoy aggravating a certain troll on this board.) The only time I've ever even used the N-word was against some idiot who was calling for White people to be exterminated. But I agree with you that it IS all in the attitude.
By the way, what's wrong with ZZ Top? Those guys are the best blues-rock band going! Even better than George Thorogood.
Longshot593 2 weeks ago
@Longshot593 I appreciate that because I thought I was the only one who saw it that way. :D And I'm not too keen on blues-rock style music lol.
SweetGoth 2 weeks ago
@SweetGoth Lol. No problem. I guess you're more into punk rock and-dare I say it?- goth?
Longshot593 2 weeks ago
So what I find offensive is the attitudes of the people who wear it bcuz I wonder if they're wearing it just to prove some point that only a handful of people have challenged. It's the same thing with Merry Christmas. No one said to NOT say it, but suggested including OTHER religions as well. So instead of saying, ok that's cool we live in a diverse society, people are like IM SAYING MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND IF IT OFFENDS YOU SCREW YOU! Yeah...way to celebrate the reason for the season, huh?
SweetGoth 2 weeks ago
It seems to me that less people are offended by it than people make it out to be. I rarely hear people say, "Oh, that's so racist!" More what I hear is, "If this offends people then they need a history lesson and I'm going to wear it anyway!" So, to me, it's just over-hype by people who think that everyone thinks it's racist, when it's statistically (last I heard, at least) such a small percentage of people who truly ARE offended by it.

you people are just morons. all colors and creeds fought for the south.. it had NOTHING TO DO WITH SLAVERY!!!!! Slavery was already being filtered out, it had to do the the Fed stepping over there power to tell us what we can and cant do in OUR Homes, in OUR bis. go read your fuckin history befor you start Dogin on my flag.

the part of VA im from is a small area and lots of pple fly the confederate battle flag including myself i have one tattooed on my arm to represent my southern heritage
MrHellbilly59 2 weeks ago
Um, yeah. The confederacy is supported by bigots who hate America, believe "America is a dead country," and don't see anything wrong with flying a Nazi flag. That's why We the People love the United States of America instead.
RonPaulHatesBlacks 2 weeks ago

The confederate flag does not mean racism, it just means southern pride. Anyone of any race can fly it if they have pride in being from the south, me i'm from the north but I do know a little bit of my southern history.
