The appeal of this show is hard to define... The characters are fairly shallow and static, the plot is predictable, and every joke and "cute moment" is recycled about a thousand times...

And yet I've watched five episodes in a row with a stupid grin on my face the entire time. On top of that, I know that I'll be heartbroken when I run out of episodes. I think it might be the innocence and simplicity of it all. I forget all about the "rules of what a good show is" when I watch this.

@JohnPoe100 i beg to differ here.. i never felt characters are shallow anywhere, instead the emotions are rather palpable..guess this its magical charm that despite of being an anime it is still got the ability to elicit liking inside you towards each character which somehow becomes part of your dreamy world which you wishes to make your reality..

and yes it has the scent of cuteness n simplicity which makes you stick to it :)

I don't think Ruu's parents were all that great. Because in ruu's dream he dreampt miyu and kanata were arguing and I think that's how his real parents are like. That's why he wants so bad for miyu and kanata to be together ao they could be a real family. IMO at least.
