  • @HeyTom1...I had the same thought about DNA on the Envelope. Unfortunately, it has been so long that if it wasn't Hauptmann, whomever it was is already dead of old age. Such a sweet little guy. And then his little body left in the woods and picked at by animals. So sad. He's on my list of people I want to meet in Heaven. Or maybe I'll meet his murderer in Hell.

  • @HeyTom1..I had the same thought about DNA from the kidnapper licking the envelope. There are so many unanswered questions with this case. Such a sweet baby. So sad that he nit inky died, but then his little body was picked on by animals in the woods. He is on my list of people I want to meet in heaven. Or, maybe I'll meet his murderer inh

  • it makes me sad to see this video. i really hate the destructive side of humans :(

  • A simple DNA Test on The Sealed Ransom Envelopes and Stamps To Identify who licked those envelopes and stamps would confirm if it was Bruno Hauptmann sending those Ransom Notes..Why hasn't this been done?

  • @HeyTom1 Becuase he was charged and it is generally belived that he did it despite the douts that is good enough for people.

if it is known who the villian( shall we say) is even if it wasnt proven in a court of law example the The Cleaveland Torso killings in the 1930s Francis E. Sweeney is generally belived to be the killer but he walked because of his political conections.

then that is good enough for people...

  • @HeyTom1 But with cases where no one has clue as to who the Villan is example The Boy in the Box 1957 thats when people get intrested.

Plus DNA testing is expensive and people would rather that money went to 1. solving crime that happened today rather than a lifetime ago 2. Hauptmann was convicted for his crime and he paid for it with his life. 3 there our losse ends with the case but nothign hard coure that says other wise other wise the case would have been placed under re-view

  • @HeyTom1 But as of December 2011 the case remains closed and solved.

  • @HeyTom1 I knew who kidnapped him we did a project on this in class. It was Bruno Richard Hauptmann

  • @HeyTom the house plans were in the newspaper

  • How would someone know the exact room the baby would be in and the exact time it would be safe to kidnap the baby?...could someone have handed the baby out of the window to another person on the ladder?...could it have been an inside job?

  • he would had accomplish many thing like his father );

  • @WentasticWent I've also read that, but then again I've also read that Anne's sister Elisabeth murdered the baby in a insane fit of jealousy. Supposedly, Elisabeth was insanely jealous that Lindbergh married Anne, instead of her. And Charles and Anne covered up the murder to make it look like a kidnapping. And things got a little carried away from there. It makes no sense to me, really.

  • People forget. He's now frozen in time at 20 months. If he'd been allowed to live-he'd be in his 80's now.

  • Cute baby.

  • it makes me want to cry. poor baby ):

  • aw what a sweetie

  • No, the child died the night of the kidnapping. The dad jwanted to pay the ransom and get the child back and was afraid that too much police involvement would cause the kidnappers to kill the child. Why would the father be involved in kidnapping a child to pay the ransom money from his own pocket? Doesn't make sense at all.

  • the stupid thing about it is that the Police and FBI both broke protocol and let Lindbergh interfere numerous times in the investigation.. The fact that Lindbergh took such an active role and turned down options on solid leads convinces me that Lindbergh had something to do with all of it.. sick, sick parent.. If he had relaxed and let the police do their work, there may have been an entirely different outcome, in my opinion.

  • i just want to hug that poor little baby he is such a adorable baby it makes me sad to think about his story

  • what a cute baby poor baby poor parents

  • @1XxBrendaxX1 why because his was a hero and spoke out against the same goverment corruption that prevails today

  • I've read a book by an FBI profiler and he wrote that the kidnaper dropped the baby while he was climbing down the ladder. The poor thing had a huge skull fracture and his corpse ravaged by animals

  • @ReviewCam I think most likely that's exactly what happened. That ladder couldn't support a man carrying a baby. It was too weak. Poor baby . I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY WE LIVE IN A WORLD SO EVIL. I HATE IT!!

  • they actually found his body a couple of weeks later in the woods if you search on google it actually shows the picture of its corpse it enought to make you cry

  • @tyetye56 nope its a lie they found a baby on 33 inches the lindbergh baby was only 29 and the forest baby was impossible to see if it was a male or female the lindbergh baby is dead by now (age) but we will never know what happened to it

  • @wwetiffanyfan that's true but couldn't the baby have grown? he was kidnapped for about 2 months and babies grow pretty fast.

  • A beautiful baby.

  • What a cute baby. R.I.P Angel & Burn to hell whoever killed this poor, innocent child!

  • @Kien8486 I know. All this makes me sick.

  • oh this is one sick world and a persons child is the easiest and most hurtful way to extort someone, evidently even back then. how horrible, and it still happens even by the hands of the parents. I cry just thinking about abuse let along killing them. That man must of been hopefully mentally haunted his natural life. lets pray he did not spend one peaceful moment until he died and then some, because I do believe in the spirit living on. Baby killers are not reveered even on the other side

  • He was so cute ! And would have been 79 if he was alive today. I hope Hauptmann burns in Hell

  • The baby would be almost 80 if he had been allowed to live. And I personally question if ALL the evidence pointed to Mr. Hauptmann.

  • @gotch09 I dont believe it was just hauptmann there were defaintly more involve. the letter written said we. and just because it was identical hauptmanns handwriting didnt mean he wrote it, like i can write in my sister handwriting if i want to. and he friend isidor fisch i believe framed him, by leaving the money in america when he went back to germany (after the crime was commited) i believe it was him that framed his friend, by learning his handwriting and writting the note he killed the baby

  • how sweet that child was, how could anyone murder a baby

  • Thanks for posting this video. Apparently kidnapping for ransom was common at the time, and Lindbergh was rich and famous. For the best on this story and the evidence against Hauptmann, treat yourself to "The Cases That Haunt Us" by John Douglas, the retired FBI profiler. A cracking good read!

  • why could't bh leave the kid alone

  • What a prescious baby. Who would ever do such a terrble thing to a baby.

  • Bruno Richard Hauptmann. ALL of the evidence points to him.
