My kids know the Mean Joe Green original, and at 12 and 10, thought this was hilarious.

It does give you a great sense of the character of Dr. House, and the sort of "magic moments" he finds a way of ruining on the show, the ability to make a self-centered and misanthropic person interesting is a real skill, this is priceless stuff.

I don't think this ad was supposed to be humorous its just depicting the extremities of the character to get people interested. Glad to see those that regard themselves to have a high IQ found it funny although there House is extremely funny on occasions this wasn't one of them, nor was it meant to be.
