In a way, when I first saw Robocop (when it first aired back in 1990 on ABC) I first thought of Robocop as a robotic version of Batman. Since I use to watch Batman over and over on VHS. After I saw Robocop, I eventually got around to barrowing it several times from a friend after seeing it the second time a year later on television.
