  • I'm American and play in an industrial, experimental thrash band called Deadly Ascension and we want to play in Tehran. You heard it first here. This is the first time I've ever heard metal from a Middle Eastern country. You guys fucking rock! I never knew how popular metal is in the Middle East!

  • @pjharrison78

Forget tehran, theres now way they'll allow a public music event let alone a metal concert. If you want to play a gig in the middle east your best bet is either in dubai or bahrain. Dubai has already hosted quite a few metal/rock concerts as well as other music events.

And fyi theres metal bands active across the whole middle east.

  • @pjharrison78 your welcome ! we will soon kick islamic republic and these satans out of Iran and you can play in Tehran

  • Where is Ahmadinejad to see them haha \m/

  • and a little bit of RIDEMOON :D excuse me if you may :D

  • METALLICA PLUS TYPE O NEGATIVE STYLE

  • good song with a bad quality of sound!

  • Sounds very simular to Metallica. This sounds very good =)

  • nice vocals!

  • I'm from America and love metal, it's good to see that the music extends beyond political and social borders.

A lot of the stuff I've heard has been thrash, death, and genres of metal floating around that same root of the metal musical tree.

What I'd really like to see? Middle Eastern Doom Metal bands. Bands that incorporate traditional Middle Eastern music in the context of Doom.

  • @fighterinferno

Not that many doom metal bands in the ME. Grieving Age is a ME doom metal band, in case you're interested.

  • @rencrow Took me a while to find out you responded to my comment! I checked them out, and yeah they do incorporate some doom influences, they're mostly a death metal band. I guess when I think doom I always think Electric Wizard because that was my first exposure to the genre, but I guess they're "stoom" (stoner/doom) metal.

  • @fighterinferno There's Orphaned Land from Israel that makes awesome use of oriental instruments i also once heard an Israeli Sludge metal band but it slipped my mind.

  • @fighterinferno there are heaps of bands that do that, they're just small time bands and a lot of their stuff never makes it onto YouTube or the net because of middle eastern political "Internet filters"

a lot of middle eastern metal artist also get prosecuted and executed for their music... so they tend to refrain from putting their stuff out there

  • @fighterinferno hahah yeah i always imagined that :D

  • @fighterinferno try Mezarkabul (/Pentagram) from Turkey, especially their album "Unspoken" ;)

  • pretty good bands.. have a long way to go but still if you keep improvising you'll become originals.. try some kreator shit. they are the rulers of thrash XD

  • soooooo old school

  • Heil from Turkey..

"All peoples of the world are brothers."

  • forget about metallica, this is more like rip off Testament's song "Trail Of Tears". Its exactly the same riff at beginning as in trail of tears when the singing starts (singing in trail of tears)

  • Its very Fade To Black....

  • it is... man they have just copied that song...

  • you are good very good

  • Can anyone tell me how I can get in touch with one of the members of this band? Emails, Please.

  • good at all, BUT VOCALS not good

  • @afazrul79 You are actually thinking of sanitarium. It follows the exact same progression on the intro.

  • @afazrul79 check out,,,EMERNA-(No One 1642)

  • @afazrul79 Maybe a little bit of Sanitarium as well.

  • @afazrul79 at like 2:45 black magic -slayer

  • ... metallica + artillery +iced earth (first part), not bad. solo sound killer.

  • You know its nice but everytime i hear iranian bands they always start with something that sounds like metallica song.. i dont advise tem to keep doing that.. and most of them start like metallica and finish like type O Negative

  • give it some time - we are litterally crawling out of the dark into the light again - one should be surprised we have gotten so far after being in the dark for 30 yrs

  • I agree.

  • nice song.. at first minute it likes Sanitarium ... anyway nice song.

  • خیلی خوب

  • I never thought I'd see the day where the spirit of metal would be set free in a place as foreign to the tradition as far away Iran. Metal has made its print on the world. I can't imagine a world without metal. What a boring place that would be. I am particularly fascinated that metal has taken root in Iran, combined with the old culture of the sands of ancient Persia, metal takes on a new meaning, an expression all its own through the eyes of an Iranian mind.

  • there is no pure thrash anymore its all death metal vocals and sometimes good thrash riffs all of todays thrash sucks unless someone finds a thrash band that has a singer that doesnt come close to screaming

  • You should check out bands like Evile, Gama Bomb, Bonded By Blood. Check also out Fueled By Fire and Warbringer. There you got some wicked new thrash metal.

  • gR8 ! ROCK ON !

  • wackistan i agree ^^

  • This is old school.

    I like it =D

  • they dont have a fucking myspace

  • I,am egyption and I listen to you and your music solo very nice you should come to egypt good luck

  • i dont listen to metal i listen to trance but i used to listen to metal for a long time. i gotta say that metal improved my taste in music. respect. the intro is pretty much metallica-one but still amazing song.

  • fuzzfuzzy im iranian but i was born in america. I went there to vist family and see them, They arent underground at all. They play at a dome.Alot of things people say about iran is wrong except there governmennt sucks prety bad. Im not try to be a smart alek

  • it's nice to finally hear somebody say that there are misconceptions about iran :D

  • Maybe they sound a bit like Metallica with more growls and it may seem "dated" but Iran is a country where metal really HAS to be underground and you might hear only one out of every 20 bands out there.

These guys are risking their own asses coming up with stuff on their own without being signed to Century Media and the like and having a an easy ride.

This band is pretty talented and to be a metal band in a country with "Morality Police" takes some pretty big balls. Respect that.

  • my god,its creepy!

  • avalesh mese one metallica shoroo shod ba taghire chand ta note

  • the instruments are good, the vocals are not....

  • nice music guys.... keep it up :)

  • im half persian half german and i like u music!!

  • vocals are gay. And they are like , omg, copying metallica as hell. Same gear, same video.

  • why all these negative comments the made a good work,i am not persian i am arabian but i liked it and about the vocal ,it's death thrash metal so what do expect a nice sissy voice :P

good job guys and i hope u see the arabian metal it has the same quality of persian metal.

  • hes trying to see betutiful or something this is metal, not a fuck "worlds sexyest man conntest" if u look at hes mouht .. thats not growl thats singing he dosent dare to show hes face when he growls... fucking nabs ,

  • Why wouldn't he want to show his face if he growls? Is it wrong for us Iranians to growl?

  • The singer sucks, this would sound alot better instrumental. Believe me.

  • Agree.

  • the intro clean guitar sounds like Dream Theater's Endless Sacrifice

  • The beginning sounds a bit like the good old metallica

  • The beginning sounds a bit like the good old metallica

  • awesome

  • wow not bad at all

    afareen bacheha!

  • Fucking bad ass thy need to come to USA.

  • cool song!

  • nice but the vocs cold be way better...

  • these cghfrghiooygioy's are fucking hardcore

  • Instrumentally, very good. But the vocals seems very out-of-place.

  • I agree with you 100% some deep growls would make it much better

  • totally, but it's always nice to see a persian metal band, considering the situation over there it gives me hope.

  • Yeah man..These muslims are very extremis..Not all muslims are like that..Im one and actually the person who made me listen to metal was my uncle who happened to be a muslim priest lol..

  • haha that's awesome!

  • Yeah,I was 6 years old and he made me,and his son listen to Iron Maiden and old school stuff..He said Death metal was too loud for 6 years olds :P

  • HAHA, yeah i think i would get traumatized if i heard death-metal while still in kindergarden :D

  • Big metalheads happen in baby steps :P
