LP "Zoolook" was made with human voices recorded all over the world, digitalized and edited... not sure it's a french word and not even sure it's a word lol (maybe a part of word or reverse playback... who knows ? ;) ).

i think zoolook more than any other just because of all the voices and the usual jarre music all mixed in makes it unique.

I count this song/piece into among his top 5, if an outstanding album "Sessions 2000" as a whole is left out. A hard decision, but I`m standing behind it . So great is this melody even among his other compositions. His pre-`Oxygene` works are also highly interesting.

Actually, the voice samples are interesting. Sebastien Tellier's song Divine, which went into Eurovision reminds me a lot of this song.

The JMJ influence is sort of compounded for me by the fact that he looks like Charles Mason dressed like JMJ during the Concerts in China in the video :)

I've got this superb 12 inch single on vinyl but I've never managed to find it on CD or as an mp3 download (which is a pity because I can't get it for my i-pod).

If you can find a bootleg of Rarities 3, both the 12 inch mixes of zoolookologie and zoolook appear there.

This is pretty much my fave JMJ track ever. The false fade at the end and the slap bass are both fantastic.
