I say the same thing as Marie does, what is a chalkline? I know what chalk is but how do you walk a chalkline, what does it mean? Thanks for this video!

Hello Maggan,years ago the police would make someone walk along a straight chalkline drawn on the floor,to test if they were sober or not !

I've had lots of these fabulous drawings sent to me lately,so I thought I'd use some of them in a video,I just had to find a piece of music with the word "chalk" in the title !

But what´s a chalkline? I´ve never heard this english word and in my dictionary I can´t find it...

Hi Marie,the chalkline was used a long time ago,in the USA mainly and sometimes in the UK,to test if someone was drunk ! If they couldn't walk along the line drawn on the floor,they must be drunk !!
