I had the intro package w/hill training/tandem and it was so much fun that I went ahead paid for the VIP package but I will have to wait until like March of next year to complete my H2 training as I only have 1 week of vacation time left for this year, so I plan to carry that 1 week over to next year so that I can take 3 weeks paid off and complete all my training then. I will probably move to Atlanta during that time to be closer to the park. I am so ready and cant stop daydreaming about it
start taking lots of stairs and streching your legs. i didn't listen and after 4 days of training i could barely barely bend my legs. i had to take some time off to let my legs recover. it took me 7 days to clear for my first solo flight, but that was 7 days over about 6 months. you can do it in 1 week, but you have to listen to your body.
thanks buddy, will do. Everybody has been saying the same thing, training on back to back days is a killer. I'm in fairly good shape as I jog for about 30 min every other day when the weather is good, but will begin to do extra as training time gets closer. When was the last time you were at the park? Have you ever been during the week?. The Saturday I was there for my intro package, there was a line at launch with what seemed like a hundred wings already in the air. I was fascinated.
I get to lookout about once every 2 month. Trying to make it next weekend. Been there during the week a couple of times. Shop is closed on Wed during the summer and Tues and Wed during winter. Training hills are least crowded Mon -Thur. Sat and Sun can be frustrating for training hill. Large numbers of pilots can mean you only get in 3or 4 flights before the wind gets to strong for the training hills. Be a caddy on days your legs need to rest. You can learn alot by watching others train.
Beautiful Vid. Nice flight and landing. Can't wait til I get my H3

I'm vibrating with jealousy. If only I had the money to start flying, I'd be up there in no time.
