I personally haven't gone through the pat down or scanner yet, so I can't say what I would do if I felt I was being humiliated or touched in a unprofessional manner. I do belive that the TSA should provide a screen so people don't have to be humiliated in front of othet flying guests or TSA workers. It is easier for the TSA to employ untrained agents to do "pat downs" and run people through a machine than to hire fully trained security people who actually know how to catch the real bad guys. Our government is broke in more ways than one. We are being ruled over by politically correct fools who refuse to target the terrorists. It's practically SOP. 1) Their comments are invariably, pathologically, hate-filled and seem specifically designed to get a rise out of people. 2) Their channels have the bare minimum of anything on them. In Israel, they have a machine that you stand on and you don't have to take off your shoes, I think we should do that as well. I wonder if we trained people to interview flying guests if that would work in this country? Some think so, some don't because we have more of a flying public than Israel. I think the reason why the interview process works so well in Israel is because their TSA takes their time interviewing and watches out for certain signs a person might be giving off. I personally haven't gone through the pat down or scanner yet, so I can't say what I would do if I felt I was being humiliated or touched in a unprofessional manner. I do belive that the TSA should provide a screen so people don't have to be humiliated in front of othet flying guests or TSA workers. I also have questions about the amount of radiation that is given from the scanners. I heard that as we fly at 30,000 feet, we are getting radiation too. I just want to be safe when I fly.

It's not made to make sense, it's a psychological "conditioning" to make everyone subservant and conditioned to being treated like cattle.
There is a reason, and it's not really for security, it's making everyone accepting and getting use to humiliating treatment by our government.

I suppose I would feel better about these scanners if they actually caught "terrorists." However, I think if we will actually want to catch terrorists, we need to be proactive, not reactive.
Why does it feel like we're trading off our rights slowly in order to 'protect ourselves.'

How would you check a case like underwear bomber? Instead of blaming TSA, I would encorage you to blame the terrorists.I think the people who need to be concerned are ones who go through these checks repeatedly. I am sure for such frequent travelers, pat down should be accepted. I would be concerned if a GAY man was doing a pat down, so I think that TSA should not allow GAY people to check you. I dont mind pat down with a normal person because it would be equally disgusting to him.

Searching for bombs is not how you stop bombs...!!! If they found a person with a bomb standing in line with 300 other people guess what--?? They're going to detonate it right there and kill everyone in the airport- a lot more people than on the plane... Searching for bombers, profiling, and not giving a S*** about "political correctness"- THAT is how you stop bombs...
