  • does anyone know when that one AiW movie was made? the one with the brunette in a yellow dress instead of a blonde in a blue dress? i've been racking my brain like crazy & haven't been able to find it

  • @NinjaBunnyPro 1999, the Hallmark TV version.

  • @goofygoobe92 thanks. know anywhere i could find it again?

  • I bet Burton signed the contract for this while approached by the producer pissed in an L.A. bar!! And most likely pissed all through filming and wondering why he was there in the first place!!

  • It's King Arthur from "Camelot"!!

  • Beautiful!

  • Richard Burton acting = Epic. His dancing = Epic fail.

  • @JuanMacready Im guessing Richard Burton was a deuche but why all the hating on him? What did he do to you?

  • @AvacadoDesperado He was an alcoholic and he smoked 60-100 cigarettes a day, by his own admission.

  • This demented JuanMacready dude is badmouthing Richard Burton on practically every video that Burton is on on YouTube. Disturbing. Would not want to be his neighbor.

  • Morgan Freeman is totaly much better than Richard Burton was

  • This is really cute. I think Kate resembles Richard some. You can see she's her father's daughter.

  • Hey Richard, can I pork your daughter?

  • Burton looks O.K. here

  • His liver and kidneys were destroyed.

  • Burton is so great.

  • your a fucking moron.

  • @JuanMacready

LOL, dude, it's called OBSESSION...get some help...

  • @JuanMacready Are you sure you're not thinking of Sir Richard Burton, the African explorer, as a supporter of apartheid? I'm also surprised that Stanley Baker, a strong socialist who opposed Welsh nationalism, supported apartheid.

  • @SSArcher11 Burton funded apartheid and made racist remarks.

  • hey guys... if ever your looking for the movie Alice in Wonderland 2010... visit theater movies 4free (dot) (com) and see for yourself... enjoy watching

  • I love the costumes.(:

Very creative with the crosshatching - as if they've been sketched onto stage just like that!

  • Guys, Introduce you see this page, a lot of good movies and drama series to see! bit(dot)ly/aPJpXN

  • I love the costumes, rendered as if in ink with cross-hatching, in stark black & white. Very nicely done!

  • This is fucking awful.

  • What the fuck do you know??

    You fucking crapfest expert!! LOL

  • can you say it with out cussing.?? its very rude i think.

  • Yeah like the stupid loser Burton didn't swear all the time ...

  • The White Knight appears in "Looking Glass," not "Wonderland." I HATE it when they mix up the stories.

  • This version was a combination of both stories...

  • theres just so many of them, its hard to keep track! lol

  • Great stuff. One of the best we'll ever see.

  • How much did he have to drink to get through this one?

  • I guess you never saw Camelot....this is the Character of the White Knight

    not opera.

  • This part is my favorite of this version. I love Richard Burton, and I think it's great he was able to perform this with his daughter, besides performing with her in "Ellis Island", his last role.

  • great actor...can't sing for shit.

  • burton was dead within twelve months of this performance.

  • this is my fav part of my fav adaptaion of alice in wonderland. They're so wonderful to watch together and I love the horse

  • Then why are you watching it then, Toto?

    We ain't in Kansas anymore!

  • It's cool how the costume designer incorperated the cross-hatch pen technique of illustrator John Tenniel into the costumes. I'm an illustrator myself, and this is fun to watch!

  • Yeah it gives it that cartoonish effect, which I think is really awesome.

  • @brcbrtn Good call. I didn't even noticed that till I read your comment.

  • what about some growth secenes?

  • The white knight is not in wonderland, He is in the looking glass.

  • i know, every video with a somthing from the looking glass they say alice in wonderland

  • Because the play is titled "Alice in Wonderland",

even though it includes both stories.

  • yes, it's his daughter kate burton. who also plays the mother of dr meredith grey in grey's anatomy.

  • can someone tell me who is kate in this movie?

she is the daughter of Richard Burton right?

  • My God!

    Mr.Burton hasn't sang a tune..since he did

the original Broadwat stage production of

"Camelot!"as King Arthur. Thanks for bringing back to us all

this PBS TV edition of"Alice In Wonderland!".

  • Seeing one of the finest actors ever to grace the silver screen in a production of Alice in Wonderland is one of the great pleasures in life.

  • they arent by any chance related to tim burton, are they?

    i doubt it.

    but i love tim burton.

  • So great to see father and daughter work together. I love Kate.

  • In my drama club I am known as the White Shark and all lesser thespians bend their knees when I Take the Stage!!!

  • ive never heard of the white knight. im the white queen in my drama club though.

  • i can't wait for tim burton's version of this.

  • He's doing this? Wow, I'm excited!

I really like the style of this particular video though, I'm not familiar with it.

  • Very pretty Sir. Richard.

  • Why the x%x% is she so old! They always make her too old in movies (the book said she was 7! But they also drift her to her teens, and this woman is in her 20s!!)

  • I know, if this were a play it would be a little different, but in a movie they could get a kid with enough talent to do it. It just seems wierd to have an adult as Alice...

  • Child labor laws.

  • GOOD GOD.

Cary Grant was the turtle or something in this movie. Hilarious!

  • no Cary Grant was in the 1930s film version of the story...this one is different...

  • Really lovely - I had no idea this version existed. Burton was always interesting, and his daughter is a marvelous actor too. Thanks for posting it.

  • I LOVE this scene! Thanks for posting it.

  • It is touching to see him with his daughter. He was so close to the end of his life there. God bless you Rich.

  • Tahnk you so much for this. I had never seen it before. And I, without looking too far, am a fan of Rich. Thank you, it is wonderful. Alice of course.

  • I <3 the Burtons together... and that horse dance just blows me away. ;D

  • How wonderful to see these two great actors - Kate Burton and her father Richard Burton - together.

  • How intelligent are you? Not very much me thinks.

  • You rare totally right

  • i am currently playing this character in this version of alice in wonderland.... however.. we are all highschoolers... and we made the whole show into a comedy... and i am playing this character in a completely different way... once i get the DVD i will see if i can post it on so u can see how i portrayed him!!
