Refineries are not being built due to a poor economic times in other nations (and yes, it is mostly due to American government greed trashing the dollars value world wide). But free trade is an under estimated benefit for all countries. Others have more power than they realize. All reports are going to be 90% crap, but listening to all of it allows us to sort truth from opponion. The only path to a reasonable solution is compromise.

Going to check into the refinery issue for a bit to see if I can find better info, I'll get back on that. If the U.S. senate passes the Cap and Trade bill currently in the works, The expense will force many companies here out of business or cause them to move over seas where environmental control is less strict, like China. 3M and other big corps have already done a considerable ammount of this. Maybe Iran will benefit? Does the Iranian Gov. control the oil? Can citizens Reap the profits too?

Did you know for a while not only was it expensive, but you were limited to (don't qoute me on the number) about 100 litres per month... per car!! Of course Britain hasn't done as much as the US in Iraq. However, the Canadian stood alone in Afghanistan when the US was rotated out. The Germans on the other hand sat in their barracks and did squat. I'm not blaming the soldiers but the leaders in Germany for that. But at least they sent soldiers there. That's more that France has done. And Finland. And Spain.

Never said T.V. was my source, your words..again. Refineries are not being built due to a poor economic times in other nations (and yes, it is mostly due to American government greed trashing the dollars value world wide). But free trade is an under estimated benefit for all countries. Others have more power than they realize. All reports are going to be 90% crap, but listening to all of it allows us to sort truth from opponion. The only path to a reasonable solution is compromise.

Going to check into the refinery issue for a bit to see if I can find better info, I'll get back on that. If the U.S. senate passes the Cap and Trade bill currently in the works, The expense will force many companies here out of business or cause them to move over seas where environmental control is less strict, like China. 3M and other big corps have already done a considerable ammount of this. Maybe Iran will benefit? Does the Iranian Gov. control the oil? Can citizens Reap the profits too?

Absolutely. Iran could be a powerful business partner, but it sounds like other countries are following suit with the U.S. Almost like nobody wants to be seen as a colaborator with iranian dictatior. Not enough info yet to be sure that is really why though. And I don't think rational folks should be concerned with apperances. Like you said, actions speak louder than words. And in the end, that's what will help people progress. It's hard to know what the citizens can do to actually help out.

Well, its because "certain" countries make it so Iran can't buy the supplies it needs to build refineries. Did you know in Iran gas is expensive too? Did you know for a while not only was it expensive, but you were limited to (don't qoute me on the number) about 100 litres per month... per car!! You couldn't buy more, cuz it is imported oil they use.
We would like to keep (yet better invest) the money we get from you, but you are trying to take over the country and get it for free instead!!
