    Timothy

    :o)

  • thanks for posting...love this song!!!

  • I still love this song today! For whatever reason-maybe the weird dreams from the tooth I broke last night-in my brief naps this song came to me. Drove me nuts trying to remember the artists, let's hear it for youtube! And thanks for sharing, I've always thought this song is a serious cut above, matching a great, moody, ambient yet definitely rocking sound w/great guitar to fantastic lyrics. Timeless, it'll always live on! Thanks for sharing, peace!

  • I never understood why they didn't make a 2nd record. They still collaborated on projects 10 years after this came out.

  • once again thanx 4 keeping this one posted!!

  • Saw this video back in the 80's on MTV. Think I remember a scene showing a Denny's restaurant when the lyric "Deals dope out of Denny's, keeps a table in the back" at 2:26 in the video. The Denny's chain must have gotten on the singer's case...

  • If you like the reality behind the music, you might want to listen to Shawn Mullins: Rock-a-bye.

  • Classic. Probably my favorite CD of all time! Went looking for more from D&D and wound up with a couple other discs from David Baerwald.

    -jonesin' for the 80's

  • This song means so much to me, I was 16 when this song came out, I was in a deep depression because of my home life, i have no idea why this song made me stand on my own 2 feet and start living for myself but it did and i will be forever grateful for this song, it really did change my life

  • @buckandevie . . . a wonderful thing to read, super stoked for you . . peace !!

  • senior yr fall 1986, i was 17, now 41 still one of the best songs , still a jam !! 69 vader

  • David Baerwald : U R Da FN Man !!! Love the hell out of this whole CD my 2 sons (9 & 30) both R crazy about it , too. The percussion is so " out there ". Loved NFU and what U did with Sheryl Crow. Also, that song" Postman " with Crazy Jim Jones yelling is one of the greatest songs EVER !

  • I love this song. I remember first seeing this vid on Houston's Video Hits 5, a local, low budget MTV wanna be station. It impacted me even before I was ten years old.

  • Great 80`s song ..right out of MIami Vice.

  • Hermoso tema, aunque probe pocas drogas, definitivamente me gusta el enfoque casi surrealista de este tema, la perdicion, la levedad del ser , el trance instantaneo que te transporta al momento en que explota la pildora...magnificos 80's

  • This song is an underrated classic.

  • la vida sobre las drogas, el alchol y el sexo, te cras un abito y te pierdes, ahora después de tantos años solo la anamnesis que sufro es lo que purga a mi condena . It´s almost like always listens to the ground

es inegablemente una grandiosa, maravilla esta cancion y todo el album

  • ALWAYS LISTENING TO THE GROUND.

  • me too

  • I great song about the tragedy of drug addictions.

  • oops.., was "pick a habit".. sorry

  • ,,"we"ve got habits., plenty to go around".., great line that..

  • great song an tune to go ..

  • this is a great video do you have the last part of it tho'...? the song is about 5:40secs. long ... the last part of the song is really great......:)

  • kinda like the '80's in under 4 minutes

  • i love this song

  • Deadly song!!!

  • I used to love this song back in the day.

  • Oddly enough it reminds me of treeplanting in the wilds of Canada. This was on one of two mixed tapes I had to listen to for the entire season.

  • Wow... me too. My Foreman had it playing in his blazer... always reminds of those days.

  • I lived in a boomtown and this does capture the mood of one.

  • Excellent. I've added it to my favorites...I never got to see this on tv in the 80s! Thanks for posting this!
