  • I am slighty baffled by the final verse can you explain it please.

  • I too was a bit baffled by this arrangement. First, the sound qualtiy is excellent, but it does require a little practice. Couldn't figure out what the heck to do with the "presto infernal" a 1:56, but user Geoffrey1138 hasa rendition posted that spells it out well.

    Thanks for posting this!

  • umm words? starting point? at least on stage they have a conductor.

  • Hi! Hey...thanks for posting this, but I am truly lost...would it be possible for you to provide a guide or something? i am particularly lost at the beginning...i start singing 6 seconds into it but i get all messed up when i come to "it's my world"...would you be able to offer any help? thanks very much!

  • @cela12 the dings: 0:05 is the "I" 0:10 is the end of am what i "AM" 0:15 ding is "Own" of the second line ("I am my own special creation). Then you hear the awful synthesized attempt at a clarinet and the glissando section: 0:28 = "So.....come take a look." 0:33 = "Give me the hook" 0:37 = "Or the ovation." 0:47 = the start of the full music background is the word "My". (You can start singing "It's" on 0:45 and it should time out right) The key is to take your time and act it with pauses
  • @siroakleigh98 Thank you soo much for taking the time to do this!!! it will be really helpful!!!!

  • Job well done! Very good work and I truly enjoyed. Thank you very much!

  • Doug Hodge did a fantastic job during the Broadwat run, saw him on Christmas. Amazing voice and talent.

  • The pitch, key, tempo, PERFECT!

  • Since I am 13 and a girl, I sing it higher, but then it gets REALLY high and I have troubles with it. There's any chance you could get it a tone down? Sorry for my bad english, I'm italian :P

  • ok guys NIIKKFAN01 is right.. it really isn't that bad... yes the beginning is very funky... because truthfully the ochestra should be following yyou at the beginning but her you have to follow the track and there is limited accomp. but once there is full accomp. it's really a great track.

  • i love this!

  • great effort!! this is amazing really lets face it on stage they play the temp according to the pace of the artist. you done a phenomenal job. People just dont like when they have to listen and stick to the music when a backing track is involved. PEOPLE IF DONT LIKE THE TRACK THEN GO FIND AN ORCHESTRA WHO WILL PLAY AT YOUR PACE UNTIL THEN THIS IS BEST WE HAVE!!!!

  • @NIIKKFAN01 I didn't make it, it is an official backing track for this song

  • great effort!! this is amazing really lets face it on stage they play the temp according to the pace of the artist. you dont a phanominal job. People just dont like when they have to listen and stick to the music when a backing track is involved. PEOPLE IF DONT LIKE THE TRACK THEN GO FIND AN ORCHESTRA WHO WILL PLAY AT YOUR PACE UNTILL THEN THIS IS BEST WE HAVE!!!!

  • Great track.

Do you by any chance have it in a better quality format?

    I would really appreciate it.

  • Good work mate!

  • Come on guys, i think this is a pretty good backing track. The first minute is a bit odd, but once you get used to it, its a well done track :)

  • omg thats was awful so dissapointing!!! Thanks for trying to give us something tho!

  • orry but this has to be one of the worst backing tracks ive ever heard. It all over the place and never lets to sing for longer than about 10 secs before it changes tempo lol

  • then you obviously dont know this song very well. it is supposed to gradually increase in tempo and volume

  • Actually i know this song extremely well and it is one of my particular favourites. The song is all over the place, and whilst i know that it changes tempo and volume, it simply doesnt work because the tempo is always out of time with the orignal song. Listen to the broadway recording methinks!!!

  • @GellME Its quite obvious you dont know the song. have a look at john barrowman doing it. then comment with the right information!

  • @samstreet28 So a cover version of a song from the musical is the right way to sing it? No. Listen to the OBC recording and the revival cast. They both gradually increase in tempo. I didn't make the track! This is an official backing track for this song! And I know the song very well thanks.

  • well i manage alright

  • @coolheinz9294 The changes in tempo give the performer room to, oh I don't know, act?

  • I love this. XD

  • this version ive been sent by a friend..im totally lost with it compared 2 most released versions lol

  • What second do we start singing??

  • about 6 seconds, thers a lil "ding" for a guide.
