  • I like the motorcycle, but don't subject me to your sh!tty muzak.

  • oil deprivation?

there is a special kind of pump you can use on these bikes that prevents that problem during a wheelie, or so i heard in some SV forum

  • @SoldierCyfix

oke nice thanks for the tip

In the new sv has suzuki shange the olie pikup so it issent a problem whit 2001 plus models

  • @markfaarts

    eum thats not true...

  • Maastricht?

  • @tzr2010 yep Maastricht the city

  • How did u blow up the engine?

  • by wheely

the front cilinder runs dry of oil and kills your crankshaft ,

Suzuki have change the oil pickup on the new models so there its not a big problem to do wheely ,

of course if you do very long wheely's you stil can blow him up,

  • @markfaarts what year did they change it

  • After 8 monds I blow up my baby chicken. 8 months later I ride my baby chicken.

  • For a Big guy which i am myself I own the SV1000S n it's great i'm 6'1 302.... n it is my first bike n had it for 2yrs now. I'll say if you never rode before take the MSS class. It's very good.

  • @holdmycox I'm 6'2" on a 650 and had to do some mods for more leg room.

Is your sv1k comfortable in the legroom department? Do you wear any riding pants, or just jeans and sneakers? I wear aerostich overpants, over a pair of jeans, which causes me to need more legroom, and riding boots don't help.

  • wat would be better for a big guy? this or the ninja 650r?

  • Depends, there a big guys out there that like sports bikes. Depends where you ride, and how good your back is :)

Take em for a ride and see what you think.

The ninja is a sports bike, harsh riding position lots of weight on your wrists and back, if your a big guys (tall or heavy?) then that may be bad.

While people can give you an idea on what a bike is like you've gota jump on one and find out for yourself.

  • i am 120 kg, and 190 cm tall...and the suzuki sv 650 s is nice enough for long torus too.

  • You probably blew the engine up by pulling wheelies. The SV is not a wheelie friendly bike because the oil pickup is at the front, so when it's on the back wheel the engine gets oil starvation

    ^^ Absolutely true.

  • that is an 02 sv right same year im buyin 2400 not bad good vid....

  • The SV is plenty wheelie friendly as long as its a second generation SV... They changed the location of the oil pickup.

  • How did you blow your engine ?? im thinking of getting a sv650 2005

  • Thanks for that info josh. As a potential sv buyer this is good to know in case I ever had the itch to do some tricks.

  • Did you have to depress the front shock before bringing the front up?

  • arn't you supposed to break in a rebuilt engine?

    +1 what Josh said

  • Nice vid. You probably blew the engine up by pulling wheelies. The SV is not a wheelie friendly bike because the oil pickup is at the front, so when it's on the back wheel the engine gets oil starvation
