Every SINGLE time I ever played through this part, that cheiftain got stuck in the building on our side of the dam's bridge, forcing me to literally get within point blank range in order to draw him into the open. I don't know how you did it.

i have some advice for taking out the shielded jackals. shoot them in the foot instead of wasting two bullets this kills in one even though the marker does not turn red.

You don't have to bring 2 SR to get past this,once you take out the jackals and the hammer guy, the rest can be dealt with from the ground. The SR ammo is handy later.

that sniper jackal on the ledge of the building got scared of the bullet that I fired and I had to reload so he got away. I shot a brute in the face and they started running towards where I was. Then I noticed a little purple thingly in the corner and I fuckin' matrixed myself out of the way of a speedin' sniper plasma. EPIC I show my face and pop one in his eye. I was pumped, then I tried to hit the other one It got me. XD goes to show ya if ya wanna be a sniper, try to calm down first.

THIS IS THE PART IM STUCK AT ON LEGENDARY! i went in the cave and got the checkpoint, so i cant go back up, and all i have is that circle shaped rocket launcher and the needler (BOTH LOW ON AMMO), and i just cant run out there with those snipers there. i dont wanna start over from the beginning now that im so close, but it seems like the only thing to do...

On my game arby died just before this level and now its just me.

I headed straight for the undergroung tunnel and then im stuck at a checkpoint where the gravity hammer brute comes through the door. All i have is an Assault Rifle and a Sniper.

You know those 2 blue brutes you tried to snipe goin across the bridge?... What i do is I just sing over and get a head shot on both of them before they even get up then i kill the gold brute who is on the bridge then i go back and reload then i take care of the snipers and then i pull out a battle rifle, kill all the grunts and i stick the brute below me with a plasma grenade and i am done in like no time

I've beaten this level in like 15 minutes before and the Quid Pro Quo part goes really fast for me, because i am good at sniping, and also you should use plasma grenades a lot the grunts drop a bunch for you and they are deadly against the stupid brutes... Oh and also, why do you have 2 sniper rifles rather then a sniper rifle and battle rifle... There is no point in having 2 sniper rifles and human one has pleanty of ammo

Nah, even if you want to snipe everybody its pointless to have 2 sniper rifles, you get 24 shots if you pick up both of them where it gives the human one to you, and thats enough for all the brutes and a battle rifle is needed for killing all the grunts

here's my legendary advise: DUCK!!! It takes a long time to beat any chunk of the game without taking cover, shooting a bit, then reloading. And of course, backstep when you fight the flood.

Sometimes the Brute Chieftan gets stuck after he crosses the bridge. He falls to the lower level of the little building on your side of the bridge and starts running into the wall. That's happened to or three times in seperate campaigns with me and it's reaaaally easy to take him out with a few grenades.
