@sk3adik Of course he knows what's on the screen, how else would he know where to point and when to move off camera? I've worked on television and news programs doing live graphics. It's green behind them, but they look at a TV screen that is attached to the camera they're looking into that shows the composite video of what it looks like to all of us watching TV. It's like they're looking in a mirror to get an idea of what's behind them. It's trickier than it looks/sounds.

My uncle is a retired weatherman from the Philippines, I remember when I used to visit him in the studio and get so amazed as to how he can do it. Back then i wanted to be a weather woman myself so he taught me the in and outs of it.. but you might be absolutely correct if based on new tech.
