I just found out that Randi went AWOL from the Air Force after only two years. The air force refused to prosecute her b/c they were just happy to be rid of her.
She loves to talk of her "veteran" status though. A "vet" is defined as 4 or more years of service and/or combat duty. SHE DID NEITHER. SHE's NOT A VETERAN!

AWOL means Absent without leave. You can not be AWOL and still be honorably discharged, which she was. She went what is called Palace Chase, which means that she served part active and part in reserve. Learn what you are talking about and read the Wikipedia article closer.
