If you notice, the smoke comming from her cigarette turns into a sort of spiderweb that wraps itself around her. I think the bald Hitomi standing next to her sometimes is the Hitomi who has cancer in a future that might have been. Basically, this is an anti smoking PV. It goes well with the lyrics for the song.

Things I like about this video: Even though she's holding that cigarette throughout the entirety of the song, she never once takes a drag. Her earrings are HUGE! And I like when her and her hairless self stand side by side, she gives the hairless one a look like, "WTF you staring at baldie?"

Interesting video, but hope she's just holding the cigarette for effect? Those are a singer's worst enemy along with drugs and alcohol. Lovely song, as well, heartfelt and emotional. I always say that those who think the Japanese have no soul need to hear stuff like this to be proven wrong.
