@spinningabrasive Patent number: 5675103 explains a tetanizing non-lethal beam weapon, i just glossed over the patent when i was looking for ways to make a real life starwars blaster. but they explain and cite lots of references for how they came about to their conclusions.
yes. a salt water solution might work... also try blowing something like aluminum poder or some metal ground into a powder and shooting it past the coil.. im shore it will be vary interesting
try sending the charge along a UV laser beam, i read somewhere that a laser beam if having enough energy can create an ion channel in the air and electricity will follow it
@blissoway That is something I have wanted to try for a long time. It sounds simple but is not, that's not to mention the cost of a UV laser. A homemade TEA laser may be one possiblity that I have put much thought into. Nothing is impossible
@blissoway where did you hear it? im shoure using any powerful laser might work if it is strong enugh to in any way ionize the air it will definetly fallow it but probibly not for long
the inventor who knows all about it is jan eric herr, who lived in San diego at the time he patented it.
