I finally got a fast connection so I could watch this tribute. You lost your beloved Barkley before I lost my beloved Keisha and I know how you felt then and now. Thanks for this fine tribute to your Barkley. I know he and my Keisha are at Rainbow Bridge waiting for us. Thanks again for sharing.
It sure rips your soul out when this happens. My keeshond Queeny, family dog we had her for 17 years. Queeny was our kid sister, well she thought she was in charge of us. We were her puppies and strangers would be put on note, on the other hand she was a big suck, sweet as pie, kids could do anything with her. When my little cousins would visit, you could see her sigh and then hide somewhere in the garden, when she had enough. I has been 6 years now, but I will always miss her
I know what your feelings are: Our family had two keeshonds (dutch) and both had to be put down because of diseases. We miss them every day. A better dog as a keeshond i can't imagine.
aaaw. I grew up with 2 kees since i was born. in 2006 we put one down because of a tumor growing in her wind pipe. It was fair because she lived to nearly 19.
Our other one was put down around late feb last year due to many problems, she was 16. Now we got 2 puppies named Elsa and Abby. They are just like hypo one minute then someone flicked the off switch. They are ust a girgeous dog and sooo hard to let go of. It still brings a tear to my eye thinking of our other 2 dogs.
Our first two Kees have past on and will also always be in our hearts. Our current pair are now about 10 years old and continue to give their unconditional love every day.
Beautiful dog, so sorry for your loss. I just lost both my dogs one in Jan. and the other in Feb. but I'm getting a lab-mix puppy in four weeks, my heart is ready for a new one. Take care.
Thanks for the tribute, just lost our Keeshond last week 15 years old. Miss his nose in the frig, his running off with a bone, to his favorite place the middle of the living room, and all his other antics. Not being there when you come home. To the last day he was special.
Some beautiful, wonderful pictures to remember handsome Barkley by. I can only imagine, as his passing was so recent, how you feel without him. I know, as with my Maca who passed 1 year ago, that death doesn't end a relationship, but changes it. Hugs to you, Ben.
I've lost two, on the third one now.
Never more than a week between dogs.
Can't live without a Kees, especially when they go. Get another one straight away.
Helps alot. Just wish they lived longer.
Keeshonds forever.
