It does, just not on the EL Rock Band drum set.
If you have a QM drum set, it will work.
The mod is not mainly for reducing noise, but to increase pad sensitivity.

Haha, though shit man... In this vid I played very carefully with the pedal not only because of my parents, but also because I didn't wont the pedal to snap. But now I bought a metal plate so it prob won't break.

Yeah, if you buy the "Special edition" pack, it's around 160 bucks. Guitar, drums, mic and game is included, sadly it does not include two guitars, so if you wanna play guitar and bass at the same time, you will have to buy one from ebay or something.
