This may seem like a stupid comment, but I love that you're performing in pants. I'm so put off by women playing in friggin ball gowns. It's just not practical. As a female classical guitarist, I speak from my own experience. With regard to your performance, I think you're wonderful and I'm so glad I found your vid here!

Thanks for your comment! I play a 2004 Thomas Blackshear that I got from Brune in Chicago. I'm not quite sure where I'll be studying...I have a few scholorship offers but nothing is definite. And, I have a couple of years yet.

Yes Chicago is very expensive; I really hope that you find another good teacher in Pittsburgh!

Again, I am humbled by the fact that I work in the same place where Chaconne does her practicing....(you should hear her father play jazz)....

the video does not pay full compliment to her talent...if you truly want to see the divine...you need to see Chaconne, live.

i get to experience it, on a daily basis, and can tell you it is sublime.....

the video can only capture a bit of the true genius that is Chaconne.....
