It annoys me how people say they don't like this game just because it looks like it's for little kids. If they say they don't like it cause (I'm not saying I think this) cause the game play isn't fun (even though it is) or anything else regarding playing the game that's fine cause it actually has to do with the game itself. But if they say they don't like it cause of the age it's meant for then shut the hell up. And besides, I'm 19 still love this game.

Great game for the time, basic water physics (which was super advanced back then), destroyable objects have physics, and even the cloth has physics!

I played this game, and, YES it does have similar mechanics, very similar. It almost rips the damn thing aside the areas difference.

I agree it plays similar, but so do other platformers. My comment was making fun of how you managed to pick the least unique aspect of the game (punching) and use it to compare its similarity to that of J and D.

Well, I mean mostly how the animation make it feel. You know, you can spin attack as well (at least I remember this from the demo).

I havn't seen any platformers beforehand have you punch with that thrust each time, moving very far. Even if though they should exist, it's not exactly the same as J&D, and that the animation and spin attack is resembling this.

This is what I ment, perhaps I should have furthered detail to begin with, just, I thought people would already understand.
