Do calcifications cause Prostatitis? there is a doctor by the name of Atila Toth in NY who injects antibiotics into the prostate to cure it, do you think this is safe and should it be avoided and used as a last resource?
This is my second occurrence of hematospermia, it being about 5 years since the last occurrence. This time there is a dull perineal pain, very mild burning when urinating, and, of course, spots of blood in the semen. Should I see a doctor now?
I just want to warn all of you: Many doctors prescribe Cipro or Levaquin for prostatitis. These are POISON! I was given Cipro 14 months ago for prostatitis and today I am 100% crippled because of it. I cannot walk anymore and have HORRIFIC muscular skeletal injuries. You must be EXTREMELY careful with quinolone antibiotics or you could very well end up exactly like me. Doctors are POISONING their patients with this shit!!! They'll tell you it's safe. They are LYING. Google it.
@papatoony i believe you. i was on both of those meds for prostatitis. i hated cipro especially, cause it made me feel like crap. they made my symptoms worse too. i'm still trying to treat my chronic prostatitis.
@PineFilms Trimethoprim is what ended up squashing my prostatitis (or whatever was causing my pain...doctors could never tell me for sure). Harmless Trimethoprim! And yet I was given Cipro FIRST, before they tried any of the safer drugs on me. I'm now 18.5 months out from taking six days worth of Cipro and I'm still unable to walk and suffering terribly from a host of other ADR's as well. Have you tried Trimethoprim? It's basically Septra without the sulfa in it.
