@bugg333 Bios are the firmware that the system uses, for this particular case, there are specific versions. You can find them in a random google search

i downloaded pcsx and rigged it just the way you nstructed.

i've found at least 5 different versions of Harvest Moon: Back to Nature online, but i'm not sure which ones are compatible with this thing. and i don't know how to open it on the pcsx, it says it can only run a CD.

@TPstds Interesting question, but what if someone wants to capture the gameplay footage, but they don't have a capture card. Also, I guess some people would just like to keep everything on one place at all times.

@TPstds yea it's really just the convenience of it. imagine. you go out of state, or on a trip somewhere. What sounds more common- bringing your playstation, or bringing your laptop (macbook)? well considering the laptop is more common, it'd be cool if you could play a game on it too, along with all the other things it can do

i don't want to sound like a dick, i can't stress that enough. but the reason PCSX is bullshit is that no matter what you do, it never seems to create the friggin' Application Support Folder in the Library, and even if you make that folder manually it doesn't work. the BIOS won't work regardless of where they are, it can never load a CDRom, and no matter how many times you try to run it, it always gives that irritating UNABLE TO LOCATE BIOS

and look for my newest one it tells you how to change discs aswell and save in FF7 also to answer your problem you need to untick the SIMULATE BIOS option in preferences and also put scph1001.bin in the folder in application support and then PCSX then BIOS

I tried all this and it says "error! could not load cd rom". creating an iso file and mounting it and trying to load that and i just get a black screen.

I've also tried using the mooby plugin with the .iso file and I get a black screen. I have the bio scph1001.bin.

What am I doing wrong?

Im not sure but you could try putting in a different bios file.

@labyrinthinequeen since i made the original PCSX video i'll help you out with a few possible answers.

1. could be that Dynarec CPU is ticked or if it's not ticked and you get a black screen tick it.

2. don't tick any of the hacks

3. turn off the bios simulator thing.

4. try re downloading the game or mounting it with something else you could download a cracked v. or Toast tianium 10 (i've got 9 cracked) and you can mount it and then remake the iso, anymore Q's PM me

You would almost not be able to get caught, except that they can see the I.P address of people who download files online, so if they wanted to they could nail you, but since the people who own the domain don't want to be caught, they wont distribute the I.P. addresses.
