In my mind you create the image of this sort of futuristic sounding voice. It does sound a little different, and that is what I wanted."

Yes he doesn't need auto-tune, but he uses it as an effect, exactly as when in 70s he used talk box, it gives a cool effect, and stevie never exaggerates on this kind of things ;)
