Those alien eyes are creepy looking. It's like looking at the Stepford Wives eyes. Then again those wives were copies of the original bodies too, so they kinda share a similarity there. This is the ending of the short film version. The theatrical version ends with Mekhi Pfeifer's character, who was not in the short film.

Oldman was arrested by the government for after they intercepted a message from the aliens saying they planned to use the replicant/android to attack the embassy & win the war. Oldman escaped to try to prove he was human by locating the real replicants body Here, its discovered his wife was a replicant & they assume Mrs. Oldman was the one to carry out the attack so they kill her, preventing the bomb. However, here its revealed the real Oldman is dead& he is the replicant with the bomb all along

Ugh. I'm not sure if this is the right movie. I'm looking for a film with Gary Sinise about aliens, but one scene I definitely remember is this black character, a man, running in a field but his legs are bent backwards.

I'm thinking this is it but Sinise has been in so many sci-fi films.

Because when the now fake Spencer Olham saw the real Olham's body lying in the wreckage,that triggered the Centauri U-Bomb to detonate.
