Is there lava on the floor above, thats most likely the cause. Notch made it so water/lava leaks through the floor. I'm still going to do your hostile map, when my pc stops lagging so much, i'm going to get more ram soon.

And that is why I don't think I should play Minecraft. I could never design anything like that....

Heh, those things I did are actually "simple". They actually weren;t hard at all, and aren't necessary for minecraft players anyway.
