Andy kaufman did not see himself as a comedian.I think he was an entertainer he tried his very best to entertain his audience and he suceeded.He could be funny and dramatic as i have seen in some videos he also liked to help others.Plus if he did play tony clifton then he did smoke and that's most likely how he got lung cancer.Andy kaufman lives for ever a true entertainer and a very good elvis impersinator.thank you very much

He was very original and talented but the more I see of Andy the more he is hit or miss, there is always a time when the joke is over and that is usually after the punch line, Andy seemed to be beyond a punch line sometimes ruining the comedy.
