Marcus Garvey was better than Dubois. And black people could detect this at the time because Marcus Garvey had the REAL interests of black people at heart. The FBI didn't attact Dubois they attacted Garvey, who was only trying to uplift his people who were segregated and hung on trees.

In a culture where youth are inundated with continual low-level stimulation of the physical senses the first casualty is the attention span. Scholar/Authors like Dr. Marable who have produced monumental books would be ignored. The good news is that his books like How Capitalism Underdeveloped Black America are still there and accessible for those who want to follow in giant footsteps.

Racism is still very common in the United States although it often takes subtle forms. The best way to eliminate racism is to educate all the racists in an effective way and instruct them in the importance of respecting other peoples who are as intelligent as they are in every aspect!

I am tired of racist. What the hell are they pissed about? 99.9% of racist have never been directly affected by the "other" so why the obsession with the other? Especially with regard to blacks.

There is like 40 million of them in America. They aren't going anywhere and there will be no "race war". So get over it and live your own life racist people - get a life it is limited after all.
