Hey, I think your dreadfalls are really cute, can I give you a tip tho, if you cut off the feet part of some tights and pop them over you buns it makes it much easier to tie them, also you don't have any bits of hair popping out, if you do it right with the string you have less need for pins which hurt your head if you're wearing them all day. The string tip was a good idea tho =D
hi there. i love the multi colors in the falls and the combs. i would love to get them but but i dont know how or where to find the stuff i need for both. can you please email me a private message on where to get all the colors you used and the combs and everything else you used. i would love to make both in all different colors so i can match them to my outfits. can you also make a tutorial on how to make both made from wool and yarn? please let me know as soon as you can. thanks.
c'mon guys... no reason to be all elitist about it. Its absolutely incredible if you have the time and ability to grow your own, but due to culture, workplace expectations, etc, most cant. I envy people who can grow their own dreads, natural they are so beautiful.
But there is no reason to knock people who wear synthetic locks.... I've always wanted to grow them but never could (for reasons above)... but having synthetic locks give us the ability to experience that just now and then.

those things have nothing to do with dreadlocks. dreadlocks are a long natural process. a spiritual journey for many! you have to perservere through dreads. you have to put good energy into the process. it's a road less travelled and has a long history across many cultures. people usually grow dreads for a reason. I fail to see the reason behind wanting synthetic "dreads" aside from playing dressup.
Honestly, I've made dreads of wool before and I attached them with a very big clip on the back of my head because I was afraid my hair wouldn't support the falls.. Now I am making new ones and I might try this.. =) Thanks!
Just a quick question... I've looked all over for those dread combs and I can't seem to find any, did you make them yourself? If so, how did you do it?
In my opinion I absolutely LOVE dread falls. But I dont really like the colour of the dread falls you chose. Dont get me wrong, they are pretty cool, but I wouldnt have picked them. In my opinion.
Great video! I've been think about getting some light weight falls. What I really want to do is the synthetics that you "braid" in but I've heard they are very heavy and can dread your hair a little after a while. Any tips?
why would yu want to look like that? it doesnt look good. your curly hair is gorgeous.

I want synthetic dreads because I think they look cool...and I don't want to actually lock my hair. So the best of both worlds you know?

This is really really helpful and all.
but.
What i don't know how to do is putting the rubber band in the dread falls or putting the comb in the dread falls.
