  • I wish Richard Dawkins was a sex maniac. He's a very charming and good looking man.

  • I'd like to think that since Ben Stein was smart enough to have his own game show named after him, that he's basically just a paid lackey.

Or maybe he's only LOOKED smart this whole time, and that's his appeal to the Creationists.

  • Even to this day, Ben Stein and Bill O'Reilly remain morons. They both claim to be so bloody intelligent... while remaining so closed-minded and arrogantly self-righteous. Between the two, Ben Stein is the worst- even though O'Reilly still doesn't understand that the moon is responsible for the Earth's tides- not God. Jerks in high places on television... very much most seriously frighten me deeply. Both are themselves Dark Ages dinosaurs that need to become... extinct, or taken off the air.

  • I am pretty sure this video gives Ben Stein grounds for a lawsuit and to make even more money. Perhaps he will take advantage of that.

  • @draphaelc doubtful

  • If Jesus comes back, we'll kill him again! Then we'll smack Bill O'Reilly around !

  • Ever since seeing V for Vendetta, I can't hear O'Reilly without thinking of Lewis Prothero.

  • 1:23 lol the dummy can`t even adjust his tie lol!!!!!!

  • Wow, now I know that Ben Stein cheated in his show "Win Ben Stein's Money". He is definitely not smart at all.

  • Evolution doesn't explain where life comes from. It explains how it changes. Who knows, maybe God created life, but evolution is the change it takes over time. It's been observed too, by the way.

  • @Trip03ci

The fact that ACTUAL scientists are humble and decent enough to admit when something is an unknown does not prove anything more than that there are things we do not know or understand. Would you like a medal for stating the obvious?

There is allot we don't know and don't understand about the universe, but postulating a god explains jack shit. As Socrates says, the definition of an educated man is he who knows how little he knows.

You know more than you do, that makes you a dipshit!

  • In the old country we have a saying. " If man does not want stork to visit, he must shoot into the air".

  • Science hasn't found all the answers yet, so lets just go and believe in Magic Sky Daddy - and to simply call scientist's who have spent their lives increasing our knowledge about the Universe as "secular pinheads" was pathetic. Bill O'Reilly is an a******!

  • We should teach evolution in churches.

  • why was dawkins wearing the sun glasses in only one shot?

  • It's a satire for the Expelled edited scenes.

  • I think it was to make it obvious that the satirical interview had been edited.

  • To prove make mockery of how Ben Stein edited together the interview, not so people could hear Dawkins argument, but to make it sound stupid.

  • Brilliant.

  • Erm...

Babies are actually delivered by the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Everyone knows that.

  • All hail the flying spaghetti monster.

  • ...conceived by its noodly appendage!

  • ben stien is a moron, boop etc.....

  • Wait.

    What ?

Maybe its because I live in Australia, but, this is a joke right? o-o

    Stork theory ?

    I mean.

    Its a joke right ?

    xD

  • A JOKE?!

You're telling me, babies just miraculously pop of of ladies for no reason at all?! Just out of pure chance?!

    Pfft. Yeah right.

  • @poweredxbyxhope Greatest comment ever. NICE!

  • What in Buddah's/Allah's/Zeus'/TomCruise's name do this guys thinking!?

Considering the so called Stork theory over Sex Education! Very pathetic! Dumb! Stupid! Its not even close to a theory.

So does this mean no more sex with your wife? You'll just go to a Stork baby delivery service and viola! Its a boy!

    That's a bummer! Hahahaha!

  • "havent figured it out"?

you cant just say "A magical bearded man in the sky waved a magic wand and everything was created" (which would actually leave a SHITLOAD of evidence if it were true) and act like you automatically 'figured it all out" you actually have to come foreward with an actual working theory and maybe 10% of the amount of evidence and successful testing that evolutionists have?

  • I figured out that the flying spagetti monster its the real god, you cant disprove it so that means it exists!

  • there is a reason why creationists cant have the stork theory introduced in the classroom..... Storks have been proven to actually exist and therefore must take precedent over the magical bearded man in the sky theory.

  • O'Reilly always makes my skin crawl.

  • 'Secular pinheads',,, so, scientist are pinheads now. Scientist don't have all the answers, so they are pinhead. Why to go Bill.

  • What on earth is the "stork theory"?

  • Is it me, or is Ben Stein a fucking idiot?

  • I think when Ben becomes self aware, everyone will consider him to be an idiot. :)

  • well made point, 5/5 and u got yourself a new subscriber! :D

  • my opinion of Mr. Stein has fallen, well said maddmanNeal

  • The sad part is, the first time I saw this I wasn't sure if it was a joke.

That's how far my opinion of Mr. Stein has fallen.

  • Wtf is with Dawkins' shades at 0:35?

  • That's the kool Doctor Dickey Dawkins. He's the man and he's got a PhD too.

  • Haha,too right.

Your Zeitgeist videos are fascinating by the way. Really good stuff.

  • If you liked that, check out the Addendum to Zeitgeist. I haven't posted it, but I'm sure you can find it here on youtube.

  • Thanks for the recomendation. Nothing like a bit of early morning creationist bashing to stimulate the mind huh.

    Cheers.

  • It's really more about the spirit of the age, a rejection of various institutions of slavery - like religion and the corporatocracy. I just checked; you can watch the entire 2 hour movie on google; just search "zeitgeist addendum". I'm sure you'll find it interesting.

  • Classic

  • What an old motherfucker that tv host is

  • Researchers are allowed to talk. What they are not allowed to do is propose some unsupported religious conjecture and attempt to shove it into schools before it's even close to passing scientific peer review. If ID proponents want to do good science, why aren't they collecting more evidence instead of going to the courts or making feeble 'documentaries'? Claiming censorship because ID-proponents can't provide evidence for what they propose is nothing more than a paranoid conspiracy theory.

  • Explain how Darwinism, a theory, is supported by the "scientific method", the collection of data through observation and experimentation, and the formulation and testing of hypotheses.

Show me where the Darwinism theory has been tested successfully using the scientific method. Collecting and comparing fossilized bones does not qualify as a test, only an observation. Science has yet to even create a living, single celled organism. Talk about accepting things on faith!!!

  • That's right. And that persecution is based on the same kind of ignorance and arrogance that those people exhibited - that there cannot possibly be another answer.

I believe in science and the scientific method, but I do not subscribe to the idea that live began spontaneously and that higher forms of life evolved from lower forms. I believe that there is order and intelligence in the design of the universe.

  • Arguing semantics with the definitions of "test" and "observation" is silly- if you set up a good test, then observations you make will/will not support it, and you modify the theory accordingly. Your cheap shot about "faith" might have been merely cheap had you not also combined it with the classic creationist goof of mixing in the origin of life with evolution. Maybe if you reality-deniers learned about what it is you're attacking, scientists wouldn't be so hostile to you wasting their time.

  • we have been factually attacking biblical creation for ages, But you knuckleheads can;t seem to understand what we are saying and still insist that an idea with no evidence is a "theory". Now we are ridiculing you, See if you cretins can understand this time. if you don;t like the comparison explain why creation should be taught and stork theory shouldn't

  • subwayscool, I dont even know what to say except that is the stupidest thing i have ever read in my life, and i've read the Bible (que joke drums).

  • It's been a year since you wrote that comment, and I was just interested in asking if, with the benefit of 12 months hindsight, you've realised how moronic it is for yourself?

  • @subwayscool

How dare you say it's propaganda. Are you saying babies just came out of women out of pure chance. How come there are no babies in peanut butter if it's just by chance?!

You sir are closed-minded and believe in naturalistic religion of science.

  • @subwayscool

Yeah because the Bronze age theory of an invisible magician in the sky making animals out of clay and then the woman out of the rib of the Man is so plausible.

  • @subwayscool

Funny. this is why people do this to you, since you wont agree to a logical debate but instead resort to threats, lies, and ad hominems. This is totally appropriate.

  • @subwayscool The intelligent design hypothesis (ID) requires evidence to be taken seriously. So far, the ID movement has produced volumes of material about why children should be taught ID, but they have produced no evidence for ID; therefore, they are not doing science. Stork theory is an excellent analogy. Go earn a PhD in evolutionary biology, then try to find holes in the theory. Arm chair scientists are much worse than arm chair quarterbacks, because our future depends on science.

  • and lets not forgett Intelligent falling or I.F. The 'theory' of gravity is only a theory and has holes. Why aren't kids being taught this in science class. Its a secularist conspiracy damn it. Equal time for intelligent falling!! rabble rabble

  • Awesome! It's about damn time, stork theory is just as valid and deserves equal time, lol:)

  • Please explain. What evidence from science cna be shown to prove stork theory? What experts do you have that believe in stork theory, and what fields do they hold degrees in (if any)?

Also, if Evolution is science, it should be testable. Now, how did life beign? See, if you don't know where life was before Evolution occured, you have now of going back to that point and testing your hypothesis. See the poroblem now? If ID is pseudoscience because it can't be tested, then so is Evolution.

  • "Also, if Evolution is science, it should be testable. Now, how did life beign?"

You've just done the equivalent of asking "Also, if Newtonian mechanics regarding planetary orbits are science, they should be testable. Now, how did the planets form?"

If evolution must be dismissed because we don't know how life began, we should dismiss the science of planetary orbits too if we don't know how the solar system formed. Obviously that's nonsense, so evolution still stands.

  • Newtonian mechanics are testable. The development of planets is testable. Astronomers form a hypothesis, predict what they should be able to observe in the space, and then find what they expected to. If not, then their hypothesis is not supportable. This is how the search for extraterrestrial life (the SETI project) is being conducted. No such test exists for Darwinism.

  • Nonsense. Evolutionary theory is constantly being tested (what are (admittedly feeble) creationist attacks on evolution if not some form of testing?). DNA evidence was and is used to test it. Fossil evidence was and is used to test it. Hypothesis: all life on earth is related. Test: their genetic blueprints should be "written" in the same "language". Evidence: All known living things use DNA. Ta daa! A verifiable test!

  • Its been a year since this comment, but what the hell. Heard of the story of Tiktaalik? There was no perfect half-fish, half-amphibian in the fossil record, so scientists made an evolutionary prediction: Go to a place that has rocks with an age between that of the fishes and the very first amphibians, and look for a fish-amphibian. So they went to a place with rocks the right age, and found Tiktaalik. This is all true. They found what they expected, based on a prediction by evolutionary theory!

  • Ooh! I hadn't seen the long version before. LOL!
