Poor thing will not survive now if he's set free. His troop is long gone, and the monkeys from other troops will kill him, if not the other assorted wildlife that lives there.
Is there any way you could get him to one of those people who take care of neglected monkeys, if you can't take care of him yourself? That would probably be just about his only hope for survival.
Sorry to be such a bummer about this, but the truth is not always happy.
