Well, since OFP2 has been made from Codemasters who are not the real developers of OFP and VBS the "real" OFP is now ArmA / ArmA2 or Virtual-Battle-Space 3, and not OFP2

Having just played Dragon Rising - I think it's time this was made Backwards Compatible.

Dragon Rising should never be referred to as Operation Flashpoint. It is nothing at all like Op Flash, it would be more at home in EA's Battlefield series.

It's still a decent game, but come one - we want our proper military sim and ARMA 2 might be another year off. Lets get some more out of the original and best Cold War Crisis first!

I can recognize this area from orginal OFP - Malden Island - and Le Port is place and name of Mini Battlefield Multiplayer map (Capture and Hold) which we always and still play on public OFP C&H servers! Funny thing is that your movie starts in place called Fishery where second flag to capture and hold is located ! :)

To be honest this game is alot better than most of the latest games, it seems to be the closest game that actually simulates realistic war. Also why does a game need good graphics to be good? This game is definately better than COD or any overrated crappy game because it doesn't get repetitive and there's loads of possibilities to do,e.g.: creating you own war.

1. How to make an allied chopper land but not get out using waypoints

2. Get 2 different AI squad groups get in one empty chopper at same time using GET IN NEAREST waypoint.

i do 2 but MP at most - there are still some public and clan's servers to play many kinds of OFP' maps - servers dediated for C&H, Mini BF, COOP, CTI and CTF even. u can play there withoute any addons or u need some mods to play there. I can resume that OFP os still ALIVE! :)

I placed 80 AI americans on the map and 80 AI russians. Plus my own sqad of 6 (=me + 5 AI commanded). The mission ended with all russians dead. I didn't count the americans, but you don't see many running around. My guess is at least 50 americans dead.

The simple fact that Elite had a mission editor (on Xbox) allready destroys all other shooters available on any console. Making and playing with friends your own co-op missions is just amazing in this game. Hopefully OFP2 (by CM) will bring back that stuff on 360/XBL.
