@dofaan While a better board wont necessarily make you suddenly able to do everything you want, it will certainly make things easier. I think you board wasnt designed for anything more technical than sliding on flat ground.

Where would you guys go (Exile) to skim on the East coast and when? Im just now at the skill level where I want to start riding waves but all the East coast beaches I have been to during the summer all the waves just sit in one spot and curls over itself. Im from Georgia and I am going to school so I dont get to go that often so its always disappointing when the beaches arent like what I saw in my favorite ExileSkimboards videos.

@ChainsawRaptor We have several riders from the east coast, one of which is Austin Keen who is from Georgia. He tells us stories of some of the longest liners in the world in Georgia, though you have to know where to be and when. I dont know the details. Perhaps you could hit him up on facebook or something?

you only need a few mls of water to skim, you can even skim on watery sand, almost like quick sand.

@TheFluffernutter69 Victoria foamie is fine for an entry level board. Compared to the boards we make (or the high end boards Vic makes) however its pretty bad.... the foamie will not last very long relative to other boards but can be a good purchase if you are not sure how much you like the sport and just want to try it out before you buy some real equipment.

it really depends on wt ur doin wrong but generally start on flat land and try 2 keep ur stance at 90 degrees 2 the direction ur goin. thats the general mistake 4 beginners gettin the wrong stance
