Unless there are some major things come up, I dont think she will be convicted of first-degree murder. So far there has just not been enough proof that she deliberately killed the kid. Definitely will get nailed with aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter of a child and four counts of providing false information to police though. I dont think there is any doubt in anyone's mind that she was in some way responsible for the kids death.

@acreativenamehere But what about the duct tape? They can prove that that was put on antemortem. 3 layers: one over the nose, one over the mouth, another to hold the jaw in place. IMO, that's to prevent the child from breathing. Also, there was a heart-shaped sticker on the duct tape over the lip area. That tells me that she drugged the child, Caylee fell asleep, Casey put the duct tape on so that if she woke up, she wouldn't be able to breathe.

Couldn't they use the hair from her brush to to a hair folicul drug test? Doesn't that show any drugs for, in a 9 inch hair sample, wouldn't it infact go back more than two years?

Of course, Caylee was not even three years old yet so it wouldn't show up. That's my recollection of the issue but really good point.

A theory that fits perfectly: Casey told Amy that her mother was crazy, having domestic problems with her dad, and she would be taking over their mortgage soon. She PLANNED on her parents being GONE, which is why she researched household weapons. She intended to kill her parents, plant Caylee's body and make it look like a murder-suicide while she was out partying. Her lies about Caylee would be wiped out with her parents. But the body decomposition threw her off, so she had to stash it nearby.

When CIndy and George picked up the white pontiac, CIndy noticed the car seat and Caylees babydoll in the car. CIndy got pissed and wondered why Caylee would go anywhere without her doll. Caseys defense is a laugh. If Caylee actually drowned on june 16th at the house and George was the one who made Casey bury the body-why in the hell was Caylees favorite babydoll in the nasty smelling car?????? That babydoll would of been at home if Caylee died accidentally in the care of George and Casey.

His middle name is not Michael, he never lived outside Orlando, he doesn't have a child, he doesn't know any Zenaida, he was never involved with Casey, he never met Caylee let alone offer to have his girlfriend babysit her for free or for $400, he doesn't have a trust fund or a boat, and his mother did not marry from her death bed. Soon Caylee would be able to tell Cindy & the world that Casey didn't have an office at Universal etc. Casey would no longer be able to get away with lies (past & future).

This is what happened She made homeade chlorophorm to knock out her daughter so that she could go out and party except she accidentally klilled her with it, then once that happened she took a month to think up a very detailed scenerio to tell everyone.

When I look into Casey's eyes I see someone who is a victim of sexual abuse. Casey felt SO trapped. All she wanted was a family of her own and that included CAYLEE. She had no reason to kill Caylee. She was worn down because not only did her father sexually abuse her from age 8, her brother also came into her room and abuse her. I am not sure why it was not found before then since it was so close to the Anthony home. I actually did not offer a theory as to that, I am just stating that I found it odd. @piraton26 I agree with you that it does not justify all of her lies. I don't think I said that it did, I only think that it could help to explain her behavior.Abuse can be a viscous cycle, and there are some who are terribly affected by it. And I do understand that her lies and actions have been her downfall, and ultimately that is her own fault. Indeed her behavior was atrocious after her daughter's death, however that isn't really evidence that she murdered her daughter.

And it was wrong of me to imply that the abuse had certainly taken place. I know that it really can't be proven one way or another, other than Lee or George confessing.

@piraton26 I have not even made up my mind about this case. I want to make that clear. I say Casey is innocent because it hasn't been proven that she is guilty. Remember that she does not have to prove her innocence. I think the more important testimony regarding her true guilt or innocence is coming up. I would like to hear the evidence concerning Casey's car and more importantly when the duct tape was placed. Only after hearing all the evidence can I be certain.

"being abused" which has YET to be proved by any means. She showed concern for her coworkers, and shows anger when she is frustrated easily by looking at jail videos, but somehow she cant feel any emotion when her daughter is kidnapped? come on now

The point is you don't know. The fact that you say she was slutting around just shows how biased you are against her. I think I already addressed the abuse issue. How is an abuse victim who suffered at the hands of her family going to prove that? How would you go about proving it? And Caylee was never kidnapped.

That is not what I am saying, and you can hardly compare this type of pain with that of a toothache. I am saying that it is possible for someone to hide their pain from everyone else, and then express that pain in private. This happens all the time. There are people who only cry when they are alone, and will put on a smile in the presence of others.

@Hans021220 I think I was just annoyed with his cross examinations. He seemed to be attacking a lot of the female witnesses by implying they were jealous of Casey and that is why they were not credible. It just seemed a little odd for him to accuse Amy of dating all of Casey's ex boyfriends... I didn't think that came across well. My point was really he doesn't need to do that when all the witnesses were confirming what he had said - Casey lies.
