  • Well, the darn movie is finally out on BluRay.

    Any improvements?

  • And thankfully the colours in the titles have been restored to what they should be!

  • Quite revealing

  • What I'd like to know is, where is it written that the look of the SE DVDs is definitive? Just because they were released first doesn't mean anything.

  • Nobody is saying the SE's are the definitive versions. In most cases the UE's are superior in terms of quality than the earlier releases. However, there are a number of color issues with many of the early films which now make them look nothing like they did on their original release or on the SE (which is how the films have generally always looked). The SE's represent a more accurate version of the colour/sound of the original releases.

  • why can't these so called "re-mastering" people just leave films the way they are when putting them on to DVD? the general public arn't exactly going to notice how a remastered version is slightly more red are they! just a waste of money in my opinion

  • Any who it looks better in the SE

  • Well, to me the flame still looks a "tad" bit orange in the Special Edition version.
