just incase anyone wanted to no, flea actluy used a 'DOD FX-25' envelope filter. you cant buy them new anymore, i got mine off ebay for 100 bucks. They stopped production in the early 90's and brought out the 'FX-25/B'. which had an additional blen nob, so you can blend in your clean. they arent nearly as good as the originals and arent nearly the price either.
not that it makes any differents to you, that one sounds fine!

I'm just at the verge of buying the syb-5 myself:P nice cover, pitty about the low vid quality. Strugling with the same isue tough:)
