Chickens lay eggs every day, but if a rooster's around, the eggs get fertilized and the eggs bear chicks. Otherwise, they're just unfertilized eggs. I guess sort of like a woman's menstruation, but not as messy?
I guess the process for checking for bad eggs isn't 100%. I've assisted in kitchens for about 4 years and i've gotten about 3 eggs that have bloody yolks. the strange thing is i've gotten more "red" eggs then double yolks.
When he flips the eggs the screen cuts multiple times... I think AB wasn't skilled as he is now in these past episodes. Multiple takes ot get that perfect flip :3

Alton's a genius. Do u know he gets no money at all from the tv show? Only from the sale of his books, DVDs, knives and appearances. So, show your support, and buy Alton's stuff.

Yeah, in early seasons, he actually said the title. It was only in later seasons that he let the title intro finish it for him...and even on a few occasions, other people said the title, including the avocado episode where the entire Good Eats staff said it in unison.

Cuz not everyone wants to just watch pretty people cooking pretty food, some of us actually want to learn something.
You won't learn much from most cook shows because they don't tell you measurements, the science behind food combined with humor like this show.
