As for Casualty and friendly fire rates I find that hard to believe,im not taking anything away from US Forces they've been fighting hard,but in Iraq they was taking alot of casualties in Bagdad but in comparision while most of the American Forces were doing most of thier fighting in Iraq, the Brits were fighting a harder battle in Helmand Afghanistan and it is said that even though the USMC are on the offensive are now taking more casualties than the Brits did in Sangin now

The USMC recently took over Uk forces in several AO's and have taken huge losses, in Sangin they've lost ground to the taliban and taken 4X more dead and wounded than us. In Musa Qaleh in one day you took more casualty's than my unit took in a 6 month tour. Nuff said?

There was a documentary where 2 of the originals were with there sons trying to show them what it was like, 1 was English & the other a Scot and it was pretty much having over 60lb on your back climbing up a hill, there sons couldn't even carry the weight let alone climb up the hill with it. Go on the army website and there you can see the requirements for the SAS Reserves, and SBS.

@huksu The trainings and tests to be in the special forces is about the same in almost all of the whole world. Russians/American/ British special forces been educated other countrys for 30 years. But in Sweden we where planning to let the Airborne special rangers to deal with the Spetznas while our SAS where dealing with more important operations!

We share allot of tec. You have our Harrier, our tank armour (Chobham), we build your Bradleys, BAE are developing the Electronic warfare systems for your new Silent Eagle project (this will replace the F22). We develop nukes together...you guys give us your SSN reactors etc.
