WW2 was over territories and control over the most valuable trade routes. People at the camps built by the Germans had plenty of food and medicine until the railways and supply warehouses were destroyed by bombs dropped by the Allies. USA has not experienced war on their own soil since 1865 so Americans do not understand what happens when supply lines are destroyed. There are many film clips on youtube however which show perfectly fit campers at the time when the camps were overran.

@realstress Are you threatening me? Just because a person questions to total number of those that perished or the existence of gas chambers doesn't make one a holocaust denier. As per my post above, I do not deny that Jews were persecuted under the Nazi's and that many died at their hands. Court of Justice my arse. In a just world Bishop Williamson would be free to voice his opinion without any unjust ramifications. I hope this case gets thrown out on appeal.

I never minimized anyone's death, or it's historical lessons. My issue was, is, and remains that of freedom of thought, freedom of speech. NO ONE should ever be told what they must think, and what they cannot think, regardless of the popularity of their opinion. Thought crimes, which is what Germany has, are the beginning of the death of freedom (insert islamophobia here). A true student of history and philosophy knows this, and maybe one day you'll understand that as well.

You will find out that there are more than 2 or 3 camps. There were both concentration and death camps and they were scattered all over Europe. To deny something does not mean that it did not happen. Misinformation such as this is far from fact. We need to remember history so that we may never repeat such atrocities such as the ones committed against the Jews in WWII again.
