@angelqueen539 I agree with you but I don't think what they did was illegal. I mean they wouldn't allow them to perform in the first place if their stunts and pyramids are illegal. Their pyramids are still within the 2.5 level which is legal in level 6 teams. I'm excited to see them again this year at worlds.

raclip02 i was there and seriously flipped out! when they first walked out onto the floor everyone was like ohh this is just another International team and we were expecting much to be honest, but once they started launching their girls up in the air out of nowhere we were in shock. By the end of their routine the entire crowd in the Milk House was standing screaming BANGKOK!! ive never heard that much yelling for any team...CEA, TG, nor WC!!! it was unbelievable

You know what I like about this team...although they don't have the tumbling skills a lot of American teams have, their stunts are freakin sick and the pyramids are awesome! They transitions are clean and never dull! But above all every single person on that squad looks like they are having a blast and that is what is so important and I envy that! :)

In Asian cheerleading, more score come from pyramid while US cheerleading come from trumbling. In addition, I think Asian cheerleading has only 16 persons in team maximum while US has more than 16. Am I right?

cheerleading has five elements. to be branded as the best there is, you have to stomp everyone in every criteria. Thailand has their strengths and weaknesses. but so does other squads. it just happened that thailand is weak in their tumbling skills, which is why they made sure their stunts were unworldly to compensate. its a matter of how you play the game. cheerleading isnt only about brute strength or skill. it also entails wit and strategy.

i've gotta say this just to see if anyone agrees with me... their team IS amazing...and their stunts are perfect. BUT it doesn't seem like their girls have very much tumbling. and their jumps are decent, but definately not even close to the level of their stunts. so they are very good STUNTERS, but are they well rounded cheerleaders? most us college teams require all ppl who try out to have more than a round off backhandspring...

no i completely agree with your definition of a cheerleader. however, on any cheer squad( competition, college...) tumbling is a large aspect. i think a well rounded cheerleader should be able to do it all...stunt, tumble, jump, yell, dance, interact with the crowd...but im not trying to start a fight. all i was saying is they may be some of the best collegiate stunters in the world but its unfair to say they're the best cheerleaders.

I think American's and Asian's cheer have different rules. What considered illegal in American's rule might not be illegal in Asian. So, this is international competition, Asian and American should adapt to avoid illegal

Kentucky is the gold standard, but this squad is well on its way to that high level of difficulty + consistency. Bangkok U. has been cheering longer than most Asian squads and it shows, but they've kept those crazy creative moves. This was very impressive. They must be going to the camps.

Thailand's stunt made other squads stunt look so "noobish". sorry for the other teams but their stunts are so way up higher when it comes to technique and difficulty. their tumblings was the only problem but they're getting better at it as well. GO TEAM THAILAND!
