@JadedGrey Yes india was ur neighbor 63 years ago not anymore, it is a fact that every neighbor never get alone with each other. Afghani new generation have to learn urdu in order to communicate with Pakistanis and to understand bollywood films. Yes We have triple the size of pashtuns in pakistan than afghanistan or anywhere in this world and im proud of that, but we also take Afghani refugee as well. Plus this film is in Urdu language not in Farsi or Pashto, do Afghanis speak Urdu in Afghan?

My only sadness with this movie is that there is no English subs. I don't know enough Hindi to understand the dialogue. But, Big B is sooo sexy when he says "Benazir" and what can you say about Sridevi...she is indeed the goddess. Madhuri and Sridevi are amazing! Wah!

iPrism7. Do you know what Mukul Anand said about Khuda Gawah?? He said that both Amitabh and Sri were competing with eachother to give the best shots and he was amazed by the experience he has seen with this movie. he also mentioned that Amitabh usually after finishing his scenes shot he would leave but in this movie he stayed to watch Sridevi's shooting her part. Mukul Said that this shows the status of Sri tand how even Amitabh Bachchan would stay to watch her shoot her scenes

Sridevi absolutely deserved an award for her power packed performance in this movie. Its so sad and wierd tat they didnt give her. Also another film for which she highly deserved was Gumrah. I cant understand based on which criteria ppl select best actresses! These two characers of Sri were very well deserving than any other roles which got awarded at those times. She is really unlucky when it comes to awards.

In Indian Idol or other really shows you must have seen many talented and well deserved contender had eliminated by public and the judges sometimes were so upset for that, but that doesnt mean those were'nt good,so Sri did not get those award that doesnt mean she was bad,her acting were remarkable and awarded movies were one time entertainer.Even Meenakshi deserved award for Damini but in reallity what we saw.!

Agree. Your comment reminds me of Kaazi from Fame Gurukul. He was no doubt the worst of the lot. I don't even believe these so called votes. Who knows what actually happens behind what we see? Meenakshi Sheshadri did deserve an award for Damini and Sridevi for Khuda Gawah . Both the roles were very difficult, very powerful and excellently executed.
