so a few questions from a guy thats about to start his first grow. i have about a third of an acre of a seven acre property im able to grow on. i got twenty feminized seeds, and a grow kit. i want to clone two or three of these plants. So, first off, where can i obtain that rockwool? second off the seeds i have are 9 week cycle plants. im thinking do my clippings around week six? i'd like to get a sea of green thing going with like three of these plants.

What does cloning do?

@Zaper692 Nothing, just produces a genetically similar plant to the one you already have, i.e., you know what to expect from it, so if you have a plant you love, you can get more like it, also is faster than germinating and planting new seeds.

what if someone cut your plant down, and you got it back a day later (in a black trash bag, no light hitting the leaves) and you cut from it and re planted the cuttings. Is there a chance of survival? I hope so, my friend got some White Fire O.G., top quality genetics, it seems to be going alright, but man, his girlfriend is such a ****.

@jacob7207 Signs of improvement are blatant. Thank you for your advice. In total, the cut up plant was in a black trash bag for a day and a half. He took two branches and sat them in warm water under a lamp, with a bit of granulated plant food (@7-7-7NPK ratio) with a few bits of CLONEX (rooting gel from Australia). One plant died and the other is now in a small pot. Bigger leaves are drooped but smaller ones are perked up. Is this good?

those are some of the smallest clones i've seen... cut from a plant that wasn't mature enough IMO. weak stems & fan leaves, not dipped in clonex rooting gell, untreated rockwool (appears to be)...

umm you didn't soak your cubes in a pH neutralizer solution? it looks like you had a great success rate even w/o doing that, but I would definitely recommend to others to soak the cubes overnight in a rockwool conditioning solution to neutralize the pH of the cubes!

@airforceonejms You should try to get as many clones as you can out of each mother plant. that's because if you keep taking clones from plants that you have cloned, the traits that the original strain was bred for will become weaker with the more generations away from the 1st plant it is.

I found out you can hold "cuttings"(non rooted) in the fridgorator with the stalk wrapped in wet paper towel, for like 2-3 weeks, then when your ready...cut at 45Degrees, and place in cloner. Envind showed me that. much love mad , wish I were closer...
