  • Not too sure here but John says he has six steps for a customer who has exloded but I can only identify 4 clear steps. We should probably also say what we will do to ensure 'it' will never happen again and even let the customer know you will let them in on the results. This lets them know that something good has come out of their complaint and may even bolster the rapport.

  • How to deal with crazies? We have a customer, a BIG customer, who's let his daughter handle the purchasing of what we produce for them. This customer was planning a huge grand opening of a new dealership, and we, their marketing company, handled all of the promotional materials. We've worked on this for months with the daughter. She's had samples in her hands for weeks and weeks. Now that everything is printed and delivered, she hates it all. PITA dosen't begin to describe this young woman.Help!
